"My family of 3 stayed in this wonderful home for 4 nights in a wonderful part of San Francisco. Plenty of room and privacy for couple and teenage son. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was provided in the home including use of all electronic equipment such as internet, laptop, tv, dvd player, etc. Wonderful, large kitchen, facilities like washer/dryer which were invaluable, beautiful garden out back where you could sit quietly with a cuppa; local supermarket was 2 mins away and bus stops to take you downtown or to see Golden Gate Bridge all within easy walking distance. The home has a fabulous manual for FAQ. Booked trip to Alcatraz and again no problem getting to the pier from the home via public transport. 30 min taxi ride to the airport. Communciation with David the homeowner was easy and straightforward with excellent instructions and tips for our arrival. Would recommend this place in a hearbeat! You won't find better!"

"This apartment is a great location if you want to be in the city, but a little outside all the hustle and bustle of it all. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that's convenient to Land's End, Sutro Baths, Legion of Honor, and Cliff House. It's also convenient if you want to jump on the highway and drive south of SF or across the Golden Gate Bridge and go north. We never had a problem finding parking in the neighborhood, and a couple of times, Charmaine was sweet enough to save us a space right by the apartment. The apartment itself is cozy and homey, with a beautiful garden. The patio is a perfect place to relax and sip a glass of wine after a day of walking around the city. The kitchen is small, but adequate. We didn't cook a lot, as there are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment on Balboa. The neighborhood felt very safe at night, with few, if any, homeless people in the neighborhood (unusual for SF!). Charmaine and her husband were gracious, laid-back hosts. It was a wonderful home base for our excursions in and around the city. We would highly recommend this apartment!"

"At first I couldn't believe all the hype (every review is 5 stars). After our stay, though, I have to agree. The house is perfect, big enough to be comfortable for our family of 5 and located in a great part of town. Rob is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome and gave great tips for eating and sightseeing. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and is stocked with everything you might need including a mini office with computer and printer. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the laundry facilities were great. Having the garage was very convenient, although, you could get away without a car if you want to. There are many good restaurants and conveniences within walking distance and good access to public transportation. We have stayed in many rentals all over the world, but this one stands out far above the others for its total attention to detail and hospitality. I would love to go back anytime."
