"My fiance and I stayed here last week for 3 nights. It was his first time in San Francisco, and although I'm from the Bay Area, it was my first time staying at a hotel in SF. I was having a difficult time searching for a hotel in SF bec the rates were ridiculous for a decent size room or suite, until I stumbled upon this property on VRBO. Having lived in LV for many years, I've stayed and seen alot of beautiful hotels, and this place at Ghirardelli square definitely tops the list. Upon check in, they gave me a 2 bedroom unit (totally unexpected) and truly was more space than we needed, but the additional space or the entire place made our stay feel like we were at home. The astonishing views of the water/city from our roof top was phenomenal. The service was amazing and the staff (concierge, valet, the butler) were very pleasant and attentive from check-in to checkout. The photos provided on the site is exactly what you will get, if not, more. The bedrooms were designed tastefully, and for a couple like us in our early 30s, we found the bedroom with overlooking the tub and shower, a very nice touch. Every room in this place - bedroom, living room, and even the den up top - provided such comfort with style. The location was awesome, very close to a lot of restaurants, and walking distance to the pier. My fiance and I were immensely impressed by this property. I can go on and on about how wonderful this place is, but to keep short and simple: This hotel, and the entire staff made my fiance's first trip to SF and our stay very memorable, and for that, WE THANK YOU!!!"

  • Wonderful condo with great location!

"This is a wonderful condo with the added bonus of all the amenities of a Fairmont Hotel. The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children). We had a two bedroom each with its own bath. The full kitchen with a proper dining area was very nice to have!! The condo is wonderfully laid out with abundant natural light and everything is very clean and well maintained -- nice decor, too. The beds are lovely!! We loved the location, it was easy for us to explore all over SF from this very central spot. The Fairmont house car came in handy on many of our excursions. Beverly was wonderful to work with -- professional and attentive."

  • Fairmont Residence

"The Fairmont residence was really an amazing place to stay in San Francisco. The unit was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The terrace was a great space to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The location in Ghiradelli Square could not be better. The residence was in walking distance to many activities and great restaurants. The breakfast included each morning had many options that appealed to all ages. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in San Francisco."

  • My place in San Francisco

"This is spacious, centrally located and felt like a 2nd home to me. For a place so close to the Wharf and North Beach nightlife, I was amazed at the serenity of this locale. The accommodations hit every need. Clean and comfortable beds, Great water pressure and a large kitchen. It is what I picture living in San Francisco is all about. There was no guess work and the host thoroughly anticipates every question of making this your home for the duration of your stay."
