"We rented this house for the weekend of my daughter's wedding. It is in a GREAT location and an awesome house. Five of us stayed extremely comfortably. There is a great little coffee breakfast shop around the corner named Bacon Bacon, also a little grocery store. We had an awesome weekend and would look forward to renting this house again!!!"

"The cozy, city flat was just right for our family. We have several children, including a 1 year old. I was really grateful for the high chair and the rest of the kids really enjoyed the train set while the baby napped. It was surprisingly close to much of the city. We spent time at The Embarcadero, The Golden Gate Bridge, the Conference Center, the Beach, the Golden Gate Park. The street parking was doable (pay attention to the signs!!)...it was only a hassle on Sunday as it was the popular Bay to Breakers event run that day."

"Stayed here for a week long vacation with our two boys (11 and 13) and found the house to be absoutely fantastic for us. The two bedrooms upstairs gave the boys plenty of space for themselves in the evenings after long days of family togetherness, and having their own bathroom made getting ready to go in the mornings a breeze. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out, and there is a Whole Foods and a neighborhood market nearby for grocery shopping. The neighborhood is quiet and very lovely, and you have a nice view of the Pacific from the den. The location is great as you can walk to Golden Gate Park and Haight Ashbury, and public transportation options are all very close.
Mick, the owner, is a pleasure to work with and makes the entire stay very easy. From arranging a parking pass to the well documented "user's manual" for the house it could not have been easier. Mick went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay.
If you are planning a trip to San Francisco, I can not recommend this home and owner highly enough."

"My first trip to SF and I could not have wished for a better place to stay! The most centrally located, easy to access via public transportation, comfortable and quiet location I've ever stayed at when traveling and beats out many hotels I've stayed at in my travels for cleanliness. The owner welcomed us immediately upon arrival and walked us through the apartment and instructions thoroughly. They had the most helpful binder of information for visitors that gave us restaurant suggestions nearby, tourist tips, and more - just a very thoughtful thing to do to provide. Towels (2 sets unless you ask for more), fridge, stove, carpets, bed/sheets, extra pillows - all clean and ready. All appliances needed to live in SF for any length of time. Back porch sitting area was nice to sit out at night and relax from a long day of touring. I would not bother looking anywhere else in the City to stay if/when I get the opportunity to revisit San Francisco, this place would be my first choice hands down. You feel safe at night walking back to the apartment, and 2 bus routes which lead you directly to all main arteries and the main streetcar F line on Market St which will take you from the Castro, to union center, to fisherman's wharf and back. Catch the 6 at the corner & get off on Scott Street and walk up to the painted ladies, or ride it all the way down Market Street! Or catch the 33 at the corner and walk through the Castro (Sausage Factory Italian Restaurant was good!). No need to get a tour of Haight/Ashbury St since it is literally 2-3 blocks away (and you can eat at the pork store or street taco!) Coffee shop right around the corner, if you don't make your own, next to the bus stop called Bacon which was a perfect way to start the morning. I loved SF and I loved this apartment!"
