"The friendliness and kindness of the hosts; the apartment, comfortable and spacious, including everything you could need for a short/long stay; the location, 1 minute walking to the Golden Gate Park, with plenty of shops and restaurants in a walking distance (including a 24/7 Safeway round the corner) and great transportation to anywhere in the city; all together made that our 1 month stay in the apartment couldn´t be better. Thank you very much Jim and Carol for everything!"

"An amazing place to stay in San Francisco. We came on a family trip and the house suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of space, a great kitchen that had everything we could ever need and a large table to enjoy many great meals and fun! The house was just as described and places for all 9 of our family to sleep! We could walk to the beach, and grocery stores. We felt safe and our kids could walk to the store or coffee shop. To see the Golden Gate Bridge from the 3rd floor was great. The house was very clean on arrival and there was a very detaliled instruction book about rules of the house and information about surrounding area.
We were close to public transportation to get to all the places we wanted with our muni passport. We saw so much! Our favorites were biking over the Golden Gate to Sausolito, swimming at Baker Beach, Alcatraz night tour (reserve early!) the mission district (El Metate at Bryant and 22nd in the Mission district-the best guac and burritos!), chinatown(House of Nanking-much different than the Chinese food in NY but so delicious), Sushi and noodles from many places on Geary. Scomas in Sausolito was really great for seafood and nice eating over the bay. We went to Sterling Vineward in Napa - a winery for the adults with a gondola ride for the kids! And of course many many cable car rides.
Hillary was available before we went and during our stay for any and all questions. She made us feel very welcome in her home!
My youngest perfected their trampoline basketball in the very private feeling backyard.
Our entire family would highly recommend this property and we would go back! There is still so much to see in this great city!"

"What a wonderful place! Very quiet, perfect location, right in North Beach by Coit Tower yet you could easily avoid walking the hills if you choose. The apartment is in pristine condition, great kitchen which you should use. Wonderful farmers market in Fort Mason, Trader Joes, Safeway and the markets in China town are also an easy walk. I was solo all but the last week at which point we had a rental car.. Street parking was not a problem, although we were very good about moving it. There's a community pool a block away, as is Washington Square and some of the best restaurants, it's the heart of Little Italy and just past that China town. The owners are very nice and helpful, around if you need anything but give you plenty of privacy.
I was there to train for escape from Alcatraz so loved being able to get to the aquatic center at Fishermans wharf, the marina and biking the course. Great if your looking for activities like that.
We tried to book for December but it's already taken. Next trip for sure!"
