Everything was exceptional!
"Our family of five stayed in this spectacular home for the second year and we could not have enjoyed it more.
The location is perfect - on a beautiful quiet street, just steps from terrific shopping and restaurants and very close to everything in the city. All five of us LOVE the home. The detail of the design and construction is top notch, the home is very clean and modern, while simultaneously being very warm, inviting and homey.
The owners really top it off though in that they are wonderful people. They leave their stunning home in immaculate condition, have thought of everything, leave very clear and easy to understand directions for everything. And are just really kind, thoughtful people.
We could not have had a better experience!"

"The Penthouse in the Marina is absolutely stunning. It is perfectly located across from Fort Mason with amazing views of the Golden Gate bridge. We have always stayed at the Inn at the Presidio, but have never liked its lack of air conditioning. Now we have a new favorite place to stay! There is so much to like about this well appointed and charming property. There is a terrace off the living room that has incredible views of the the Golden Gate bridge and the bay, as well as the rooftop deck that has panoramic views of all of San Francisco. There is no furniture on the rooftop deck so we preferred to use that at night and enjoy the terrace during the day as there was better shade. It is located up several flights of stairs so groceries and lots of luggage might be difficult, but we parked for a few minutes right in front to unload and it did not seem to be a problem. There are two beds in one bedroom so it is certainly not an ideal property for two couples traveling, but for one couple or a few friends it would be very comfortable. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room I think, but there are no window coverings so I would not recommend this as a sleeping option. There is one bathroom and a well appointed kitchen. There are neighbors with children, but the noise from the other tenants was very minimal. They even had a party one night we were there and we heard very little from that apartment. We walked everywhere from this very central location and could not be happier with our choice. The penthouse really does have million dollar views. We hope we can stay here for all future visits to SF.
Note: The shower takes a long time to warm up but we discovered that turning on the water and turning the knob two and a half times clockwise and then letting it run for about 5 minutes before getting in worked out very well. Once it is hot you can adjust the temp quickly."

"We stayed in this beautiful cottage for a more than a month. It is situated in the backyard of the house, a private and quite place; backyards, filled up with trees and flowers, surround the cottage.
We loved the sunny bedroom, walking closet and the large bathroom unsuited.
The facilities are good and when you need something Nancy Leavens, the owner, is always very helpful.
Cow Hollow is a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of nice and fancy shops, restaurants and bars in the Chestnut- and the Union Street. The Golden Gate Bride and the Presidio Park are nearby. The Presidio has nice restaurants where you can go for a drink, a meal or an interesting lecture. Every Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon they organize the Off the Grid meetings: a lot of food trucks and a great picnic.
Within 10 minutes by buss, you will be in the center of the town or nearby Fisherman’s Wharf. Nancy helps you to settle in the neighborhood and she will inform you about the local markets, events etc. We had a great time with Nancy and her lovely dogs and we will come back for sure!"

"This home is amazing! We stayed over the New Year's holiday and had a wonderful time. The location couldn't be better, and the view is spectacular. It's a pleasant walk to Fisherman's Wharf one way, and Fort Point the other. Elizabeth, the owner of the home is lovely, and her assistant could not have been more helpful. We look forward to our next visit."
