  • Tastefully appointed comfort in SF

"We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely apartment for four days with friends. It was perfect! The location couldn't be better and to have a garage for parking was so valuable! Anyone who knows this neighborhood knows that street parking can be very difficult-so the "in house" parking was a huge bonus. The location is ideal. Shops, grocery stores, great restaurants and movie theaters are just a very short walk away. The beautiful Marina green is just down the street and you can walk to so many noteworthy sights. The apartment is very comfortable and attractive and offers every convenience for entertaining, cooking, and relaxing. We loved the bedrooms which opened up onto a lovely balcony-and the beds were so comfortable. The contemporary decor is classy and every detail is thoughtfully presented. The photos are very representative, but the apt. exceeded our expectations. We felt very "at home" here and would be happy to book it again. The owners are very responsive and were a pleasure to deal with. I can highly recommend this lovely apartment."

  • Home away from home with fantastic views

"My husband and I stayed at this property for a week. It is more than big enough with two bedrooms. In fact probably a little two big for just the two of us, but the views of the Bay, Golden Gate and Alcatraz made it well worth it. The property was very clean upon arrival and definitely had that home away from home vibe, making it much more warm and friendly than any hotel. We got great use of the front deck area, sitting out there in the mornings and evenings. This is definitely in a more residential areas so lots of families and local residents. A few blocks away on Chestnut Street you have a whole array of good restaurants, bars, and stores. In addition the grocery store was also very convenient to this location. We took advantage of being very close to Marina Blvd and the trail along the bay and enjoyed watching the sunsets behind the Golden Gate Bridge many a night. I would definitely recommend this property."

  • San Fran at it's best

"My fiancé and I took our 4 teenagers to San Francisco for a regatta and were pleasantly surprised how close the home is to St. Francis Yacht Club. The views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the 1915 Panama/Pacific Exposition dome are amazing. Each level of the home has great features. We put one son on the ground level with ping pong and his own tv the room was perfect. Level two was the main living area. It truly is like you are at your own home. The owners left their things as if they walked out so any kitchen item you need is there! We at outside on the patio and cooked on the fab Lynx grill. Level three is the master - wow- tub and shower (with the VIEW!) and great bed. The "guest room" was perfect for our teenage daughter (own bath) and then the bunk room was great for the twins. The bunk room is actually the families son's room and was great (double bunk and upper single bunk) for the twin teenage sons we have. This home is worth every penny of the rent. It was relaxing and warm and truly a home. I have pretty high standards and this one is incredible. We would definitely rent again and i have recommended this home to our close friends and family. If you do rent this home, please treat it with care. We were honored to stay there and want to be able to return!!!!"

  • Good for Families

"The house was not the best house we have ever rented with VRBO but was I would say it was shabbily chic comfortable. Mattress in back bedroom should be replaced and dining table while functional was very distressed/scratched. On the other hand the house was clean, and big enough for 7 people and in a very good area of San Francisco for shopping and restaurants. You definitely need to rent a car and you can park out front. Probably should be updated with new carpeting, paint, etc. All in all we had a great time and our grandsons 6 and 10 years old loved the city sights and the country side as well. Owner was easy to deal with and answered our questions promptly."
