  • We Had Only One Problem With This Property...

"...We did not want to leave it! This home is perfectly appointed and situated, so save yourself some time, stop your search, and book it now. You will not be disappointed. Every convenience one needs is located within a few blocks walk, including bus stops. The owners are great communicators, quick to respond, and even checked in on us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table, board games, walking to a nearby park to shoot baskets, and the many places around the home (inside and out) to relax with a good book. And if all of the wonderful, neighborhood restaurants cannot entice you to leave one evening, there are excellent pizza take out/delivery restaurants close by, a Real Foods grocery store two blocks away, and a fabulous and well-stocked kitchen. Also of note, basic "supplies" such as paper towels, trash bags, toiletries, etc., are provided for the duration of your stay. Thank you Mike and family for sharing your home with us. It was the perfect way to end our California vacation."

  • Perfect Place....

"This is my second stay in this Marina studio and I plan to stay here every time I come to San Francisco. This studio, very near the Marina Green, is reasonably priced given its quality, roominess and location. Plus Laura the owner, is quite pleasant, helpful and accommodating when you need something or have a question about things that only locals would know. This is a BIG bonus! As you walk into the studio, you immediately have a feeling of openness and pleasant brightness; this is far from being a small, dark, cramped studio. And then you notice the glass doors that open to the delightful garden beyond. When you stay here, the garden is all yours. It is not shared with anyone else which makes you feel you have that much more room. This apartment is incredibly quiet and peaceful given that you are in the middle of a big, metropolitan city. I highly recommend this property especially if you are in San Francisco for an extended stay."

  • Great location, lovely house!

"My family stayed in this cute little house for a week while we explored San Francisco. We loved the location of the house, close to Union Street, the water and Fisherman's Wharf, and several bus routes that will take you everywhere you want to go. We bought 7 day muni passes and rode transit all over the place, walking only 2 blocks from the house to access it. We stayed with our two sons ages 12 and 14, who do not like sharing a bed. My husband and I had the king room, one son got the queen room, and the other slept on the futon in the sunroom. It worked out well, although at first I wasn't sure, the futon smelled a little musty. But once it was done up with all the lovely smelling extra sheets and blankets, it worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we didn't really cook much. We used the stove top, microwave and blender to make quick snacks and breakfasts, preferring to sample lots of SF yummy food for most of our meals! The one thing that bugged us about the kitchen was the garbage can... it has a battery operated lid, but wasn't working, and it got to be really annoying after a while. But that would be easily fixable. We loved the comfy seating area in the living room to relax and watch TV to wind down at night. It felt like there was lots of room for the 4 of us, and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other, even though the place is cosy. The only thing I didn't like about this rental was the parking situation. We had a rental car, and needed to use it about 5 days out of our 7 (for when we headed out to hike, to the football game, etc). We didn't want to drive it around SF, as parking is hard to find, so we only used it a few hours most days, at the most. However, I was always a bit worried we wouldn't be able to access it when we wanted it. The reason is that, although there is room for 3 cars to park inside the gate, they park end to end, in a line.... so the car at the end of the line is the only one that can actually leave the property. The owners were available and moved their car when we needed ours, if they were behind us, but I always had a worry in the back of my head, what if they weren't around to move it, and we got stuck there, and couldn't get to where we needed to go? We all really loved this house and location, and would stay here again for sure. It is in the perfect location, is private, quiet and cute. But I wish the parking situation would be a bit less stressful!"

  • Fabulous find in quiet Marina neighborhood

"The flat was impeccable. Centrally located and stocked with everything needed. It is an updated and cozy flat with a beautiful deck and outside sitting area below the deck. The owner was available when needed and overall it was one of our best experiences in San Francisco. It was completely quiet and tastefully furnished. Would recommend this property highly...5 stars!!"
