"My husband and I took a road trip from Oklahoma to San Marcos, CA; San Francisco; coming back through the Grand Canyon; and then back home. Parking was a little tight in the garage for us only because we aren't used to that sort of "tandem" parking but we had no problems with it. We spoke to the other tenant at the time and let them know our schedule and when we would need the car, and they did the same for us. It allowed us to be parked in the right position for the garage. We only pulled the car out when we went to Muir Woods and used UBER the rest of the time -- which I would HIGHLY recommend as your way around SF after you have done the cable car a time or two just to say you have done it. We spent our time in San Francisco in the lower-floor flat. It was so perfect! Felt like we just blended into the city. Great location! Jennifer was very responsive whenever I had a question leading up to our trip. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"We stayed here for a week and we enjoyed the location very much. It was easy to get ANYWHERE. We made great use of the Muni passes. We used them to go all over the area by Trolley, Bus, and Cable cars. Trolley stop was right out front and the Bus stops were right at the corner. The apartment is clean and a very good size for 2 people. We weren't in much but we would have liked to have cable tv to watch when we had a down night (just taking a relaxing break). Close to China town, Lombard St., downtown, Fisherman's Wharf and so many other places. Would recommend this property for the great location and would stay again if in the area. We did use the kitchen for breakfasts. The stove and coffee maker worked with no issues. A little more light for reading in the living room would be beneficial."

"This is our second stay in the beautiful Victorian on the top of Nob Hill. Once again Brian and Charles delivered!
Not only is the home in an exclusive area of SF, with the cable car line right at the footsteps of a cozy and private lane, with supermarkets and other services at a short walk's distance, it is the attention to detail and care that distinguishes this home as a unique vacation/corporate rental from any others we have visited. You live like a true San Franciscan .
Not to mention the fabulous view room with nearly 180 views from Twin Peaks to just about Alcatraz...unforgettable views of the GG bridge during sunsets and the fog rolling in....unforgettable!
Not to forget the new state of the art appliances just put in ( fantastic washer/drier....better than going to the cleaners) along with a silent dishwasher...it was so silent, I could not tell upon using it for the first time that it was on!
This is truly a large, beautiful, comfortable and all around well maintained classic SF Victorian with modern touches to make it feel modern, but yet maintain it's original feel
We already are booking are next stay...can't wait!"

"Kate was very helpful in arranging the place, and providing everything we needed for the stay. Generally very easy to get a hold of, all issues sorted out in short order, and all questions were answered quickly. The place itself is up a hill that is up a hill- very San Fran! While there seems to be some hostel-ish sort of establishment nearby, we were never bothered by it. On some occasions, we got back late at night and felt safe in the area although being down a small side street, probably best to use the buddy system.
The property itself is "charming" - a bit older in terms of style and furnishings, but nothing that you don't see up front in the photos. We felt that everything was about as expected, with a usable kitchen, living room, dining area in addition to the bedrooms. Just be aware that one of the bathrooms is downstairs and the other is upstairs (whereas both bedrooms are upstairs). We took a day trip out to Napa Valley and the car rental place (National, in this case) was less than 5 minutes away, couldn't have asked for anything more convenient! Unless you're looking for ultra-modern (and willing to pay at least twice the price), this is a great find and a lovely base for your stay!"
