    "I had a specialist to see at UCSF and this place was perfect. We had easy access to public transportation. We were close to everything SF. Yet at the end of the day or appointment we could escape to a nice quite neighborhood away from the busy city. The place had everything one could need and our host were helpful. We highly recommend this place"

  • Great location, plenty of room

    "I organized a trip for 9 people to SF and rented this unit and the unit above. The location was perfect - Castro area - close to Muni, restaurants, bars, etc. The units were both very spacious and the bedrooms are on either end allowing more privacy. Decor was classic SF style but could use some updating. My only concern with the experience was the response from the owner/property manager. A few days prior arrival to SF, I called and emailed the owner. Voicemail was full and no response from email. If we had had a problem getting in the unit, i wonder what we would have done. After departure I emailed then called the owner to let her know we were gone and ask about the deposit return. Voicemail still full and no response on email. I finally called VRBO to submit a request/complaint and the deposit was refunded within a few days. I understand owners (I've had a property listed on VRBO) have lots of inquiries from non-renters and renters, and may not have alot of time to respond. But I spent a fair amount of $ on these properties and no response close to arrival or after departure can tend make me a bit anxious."
