"If you want a place to stay that has it all including the greatest of owner/tour guide/host, this is the place. We stayed for a week. Katherine welcomed us like we were old friends she hadn't seen in awhile. Kind and caring drove us around the neighbourhood to point out the places of interest. The suite is spotless, my husband is still talking about the comfortable bed. Location was perfect for getting around/catching transit. A big thanks and we will surely recommend this to anyone going to San Fran. G&H"

"This is a beautiful old San Francisco family home with views out over the Mission. The apartment has its own steet entrance, opens out into the garden, and is comfortable, modern and light. It's easy walking distance to the Moe Valley and the Castro villages, with their strong characters, and handy to public transport to the downtown and waterfront areas. We are from New Zealand, on our way to New York, and stayed four days. The owners made us very welcome, were easily available on cellphone, and were very knowledgeable about San Francisco, its history and its habits. I couldn't recommend this place more highly."

"Dana's 3rd floor space offers a stellar view of Noe Valley and surrounding districts, with beautiful sunrises, rolling hills and rolling fog, as well as romantic city lights in the evenings. Dana was very gracious and knowledgeable, providing us with a complete orientation to his facility, a vast collection of travel brochures, and tips for neighborhood groceries, coffee shops, and restaurants. He was also easily accessible throughout our stay when advice was needed regarding any aspect of San Francisco daily life (e.g., local recycling policies, what areas are safe to walk in) or attractions. The only drawback we found was the slight delay for hot water because of his environmentally-friendly water heater, which needed a little time to get to the third floor.
In summary, we would highly recommend staying at Dana’s place if you want to be in a safe, quiet neighborhood near local establishments with easy access to mass transportation, and within 15 minutes of central San Francisco and other parts of the city."

"Fantastic place to stay in a wonderful San Francisco neighborhood! Everything was wonderfully kept and stocked, and our family of six adults totally enjoyed our time here. The reviews we read were right on--comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the porch. The location is great, and we were always able to find a place to park the van. We definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in San Francisco. If we should return to the area, we would definitely try to stay here. The organized book of recommended places to eat, etc. was very helpful. Made our wonderful vacation a fantastic vacation!"
