"My husband, teen daughter and I stayed four nights at the end of our drive up the coast from San Diego. It is a very comfortable, homey apartment that delighted us no end. The decor style is indeed in keeping with the Deco era of the building, and it's all fun and quirky and full of personality. The deck is an oasis, pure and simple. Jay was away on business when we arrived but he had an associate settle us in, and there was no issues whatsoever. Jay emailed us from the road to ensure we were comfortable, and later made sure he came down to meet us before we left. He was unfailingly responsive with emails and even phoned to answer some questions. He gave us fun recommendations for the neighbourhood. The kitchen is ideal for breakfast and snacks (and even a full-blown dinner if needed, but why would you eat at home in a foodie haven like SF?!); it's spacious and everything works. As another reviewer said, the furnishings weren't exactly as pictured, but that's because Jay is constantly updating pieces (or rather, backdating pieces) to ensure everything suits the Deco era. The three pieces I could see changed were now far more appropriate. It is definitely an urban location, so there are some street noises, but no traffic noise to speak of even in the morning rush hour, while on occasion in the evenings we could hear someone chatting as they strolled by. Seriously, a non-issue. The place is immaculate and the host is a pro. As I said to Jay, it's the kind of apartment I'd want to live in if I were lucky enough to live in SF. We'd stay again, and would recommend it."

"Wow! We thoroughly lucked out finding this lovely and affordable long term rental in San Francisco this summer. Given the challenging housing market, the search for a long term rental was much more difficult than we could have imagined. After reviewing many places, we finally found this charming rental on Duncan St. in Noe Valley. Rae, the owner, made the entire rental process very easy, providing a fully furnished unit that included a washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen and linens. The kitchen is especially well-sized, making it a nice gathering place and a welcome feature for longer term stays. The neighborhood has lots of fun places to eat within walking distance and there is convenient mass transportation just a few blocks away. We give this rental a very high rating for both unit and owners!"

"We have stayed in Lee's beautiful home several times. The apartment is lovely, very clean with all the amenities you could want. The view is beautiful overlooking Dolores Street from the Living Room and Dining Room. Easy access, no trouble locating parking, wonderful shops/restaurants nearby. We loved wandering along 24th Street. The beds are comfy, local market nearby with the friendliest proprietors. (Mama's Market). Noe Valley is our favorite location in the City. The owner Lee is the BEST hostess you will ever find. Very personable, responds promptly to any questions and absolutely delightful. The entire experience here is a "10"."

"This was a wonderful place to come take in the city and live fully in the atmosphere that is San Francisco. Public transportation is right outside the door, but what great exercise you get when you climb the hills to this relaxing studio, away from the daily rush of the city. The hosts are most gracious and very helpful with anything you need. Very clean accommodations and they are very professional in the set up of this wonderful studio suite. I will miss coming "home" each day, but I recommend this place to anyone wanting to become just a small part of the city of San Francisco!"
