"This is a beautiful old San Francisco family home with views out over the Mission. The apartment has its own steet entrance, opens out into the garden, and is comfortable, modern and light. It's easy walking distance to the Moe Valley and the Castro villages, with their strong characters, and handy to public transport to the downtown and waterfront areas. We are from New Zealand, on our way to New York, and stayed four days. The owners made us very welcome, were easily available on cellphone, and were very knowledgeable about San Francisco, its history and its habits. I couldn't recommend this place more highly."

"My husband and I came to stay in California with our two teenage boys for one month and found this the perfect place to be. The house is very nicely decorated and has plenty of space; apart from a chicken and a cozy living room, there are 3 bedrooms and two separate bathrooms, one on each floor. The back garden is lovely. Our boys were especially happy with the large flat screen TV in the living room (another TV is in the bedroom downstairs). The house is on a quiet street but still in the middle of a thriving neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and bars. A large supermarket is just a 3-minute-walk away. Bus stations are basically around the corner, the tram is a few blocks away, and the nearest Bart station (24th street) within a 10-minute reach. The hosts are extremely nice and kind. When travelling to the US from Europe, we missed our connecting flight and arrived very late in the evening, but the host was still waiting for us and made us feel very comfortable. He explained everything patiently, but was careful not to linger, because he immediately saw that we were tired; he assisted us during our stay whenever we had questions over the phone or via email. We could not have thought of a better place to stay, and can thus wholeheartedly recommend it. It is great for families with little children or teenagers, for a group of friends, or generally for everybody who wants to stay in SF for a little longer than just overnight."

"The amenities were topnotch:great bed; well equipped kitchen (which we took advantage of); and the back yard was an awesome oasis. Sure used the hot tub to sooth tired muscles after each day of walking the city. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming as we celebrated our anniversary in our favorite U.S. city. The location lends itself to great dining within walking distance of the "cottage", a real treat as parking is always an at a premium in S.F. Upon returning to S.F. we will make it a priority to stay here."
