"Our brief weekend stay couldn't have been better. We didn't do our usual trip planning but it turns out we really didn't need to as all of Laura's recommendations were perfect. The Fishermans Warf area is an easy walk past Fort Mason and bike rentals are plentiful in the Marina area so you can explore Crissy Field towards the Golden Gate bridge. Secret tip--free shuttle service within the Presidio. Dont miss Friday night food truck party Off the Grid and weekend brunch at Greens Restaurant. Be sure and schedule time just to sit in the apartment's patio and listen to the foghorns! Laura was extremely easy to work with (helped us store bags as our flight arrived insanely early), the apartment was comfortable and well-appointed and the whole weekend felt more like we were staying in the home of a really fun cousin who unfortunately had to be at work the whole time we were there."

"This was the first time my family had rented through VRBO and we were not disappointed. The size of the house was great for a family of 8, 5 children and 4 adults.
The house was very very clean. The location was perfect. We drove places, but it worked out great for us. We had 2 cars and were able to just park one in the garage. It was a perfect place."

"We used this property while my wife was having surgery at UCSF. Previously I had stayed at a hotel recommended by UCSF which turned out to be incredibly noisy. This location is simply phenomenal; there is a plethora of restaurants nearby and groceries/other supplies are within a block. I mentioned the noisy hotel because this location was really, really quiet. We never heard any noise from the street which was important for those of us that were getting limited sleep.
As for the landlord; I cannot say enough nice things about him. We were distracted by the seriousness of the surgery and Jim was very patient with me in fielding questions that, in all likelihood, were on their website. He also checked with me (even though he was on vacation) to see if I needed anything and asked how my wife was doing. Class, pure class.
The hospital was an easy walk with a Starbucks just around the corner to jump start your day. I noted three or four other coffee shops if you are not a "Bucks" fan.
I hope I do not have to have another extended stay at UCSF but if I do; I will try and coordinate appointments around this property's availability!"

"We were looking for a house that could accommodate 8 family members comfortably in a robust location. We found our match in the Castro district with this home. First, the house was absolutely spotless from top to bottom. Second, there was plenty of room for our entire party - each couple and both teenagers had their own rooms and access to one of the four bathrooms –there was no arguing over who was using them. The bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of clean towels, soap and shampoo, and soft robes. Third, with my brother and I being the ‘cooks’ of the family, we were more than happy to see the kitchen well stocked with basic provisions, high-end appliances and sufficient kitchen tools to meet our discerning needs. The only thing that was really missing were sharper knives! Regardless, we were able to cook problem-free five of the six nights of our stay. Finally, the garden area was also great with a BBQ where we all took turns basking in the sun and enjoying the December SF weather.
The home was very well located and within walking distance to interesting areas such as Castro, the Mission District and Haight-Ashbury. It was also a surprisingly short underground ride to the Union Square shopping district, Chinatown and the Ferry Terminal. For groceries, a Safeway and Whole Foods were close by (within a 15 minute walk) as well as a couple of convenience and liquor stores within an even shorter distance.
In summary the house was everything as advertised. Sharon was great from start to finish – we could not have asked for a better host. She even helped us get a parking pass for the week. We would not hesitate to rent this house again next time we are in San Francisco – perhaps even next year!"
