  • Great SF neighborhood stay

"Hi, we stayed in this condo for 5 nights during our son's wedding week with our daughter/son-in-law and parents. It couldn't have been more perfect for size, location, neighborhood and mostly the quality. Our only complaint was that the couches are a little worn and not that comfortable. Otherwise, we enjoyed the amenities, the welcome wine and the back deck (we were lucky enough to have great weather). It is helpful to have a car in this location (great to have a driveway), or use Uber to find a cab. Also, this may not be the place for you if you can't do a full flight of stairs with luggage, etc."

  • Great Stay in San Francisco

"We had a short stay in San Francisco - too short - but we greatly enjoyed our visit. We immediately felt like the "locals" in this quaint rowhouse living the typical San Francisco lifestyle. Close enough to quickly be downtown, yet just far enough away from the everyday hustle and bustle to feel like you are "back home". Po and Darryl were great to work with and their house was perfect. It is exactly as pictured. We basically just showered and slept there, but it had everything we needed. Note that there are 2 bathrooms with ample room in each, but only one has a shower; the other has a tub. We had a car, but once we got there (on a Friday evening) Darryl let us park it in front of their driveway and we never moved it until we left. It is about a 10 minute ride into downtown SF at most and we used Uber for our basic transportation - cheaper than parking in the downtown garages each day. Note that the house does have steep front steps and you have to carry your luggage up them, so this might be a minor issue for older adults, but it is certainly not a deal breaker. A wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant, Ella's, is within 2 blocks and the food there is amazing. So much to see and do in San Francisco - plan on at least 3 or 4 full days! a long weekend simply isn't enough! Highly recommend Po and Darryl's house and would definitely stay there again! Would love to come back for a longer stay!"

  • Location, location, location

"We enjoyed the very quiet, safe, inner courtyard, and clean downstairs apartment in an updated Victorian with the owner residence above. The #2 bus was only a half a block away and we could access everywhere in the city. It was accurately portrayed in the ad and was a good stay. We would recommend this place to anyone."

  • Struck Gold

"I have to admit that when I made the reservation, it seemed to good to be true. An awesome location, the photos made it look huge, and the price was so reasonable in comparison to similar rentals in that area. But after staying there for 5 nights, I can't find one negative. The house was amazing with a fantastic kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and a ton of room to move around. If you hate the usual hotel fare of terrible mattresses, you'll love the one here. The high ceilings make the place what it is: a home away from home. We split our time between the city and day hikes in Marin County. The location is perfect for both with parking available for a car, the GG Bridge 5 minutes away, and an unbelievable selection of restaurants within walking distance. The toughest decision each day was where to eat!!! We certainly will be back to SF in the future and if Pamela's residence is available, I know where we'll be staying."
