  • A Family Thanksgiving Vacation to Remember!

"This house was EXACTLY as advertised. We stayed with our family of 6 over Thanksgiving week. It was a comfortable size for the six of us. The dining room table had two leaves that we used for the Thanksgiving Dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were more than adequate! It was close walking distance to a grocery market and a few restaurants near by. The MUNI was right at the corner so it was accessible to all things in San Francisco. It was a wonderful location and we navigated the city without a rental car with the exception of a ZIP car for out trip to MUIR Woods. The kitchen was well stocked and a bonus ... I had asked if there was a crock pot and if there was a meat thermometer. Two things I knew I'd need for our week long stay. Tim & Keith said there was. We arrived to a BRAND new crock pot, a roaster for our Thanksgiving turkey, a meat thermometer AND a baster. Now that is real service. If we visited San Francisco again, this is definitely the apartment we'd rent. We were downstairs which I was glad because there is enough hills to climb BUT I was jealous of the views of our upstairs neighbors. There really were no views from the first floor. We spent most of our time in the city anyway!! Great place Tim & Keith - thank you!!!"

  • Warm, Cozy, Lovely Home Packed with Love & TLC

"My son, daughter and I spent six unforgettable nights here. Scott's hospitality made us felt so welcome, the warm and fuzzy feelings started even before we arrived. We were surprised and pampered by his thoughtful and personal touch, such as specialty drinks, snacks, breakfast cereal, milk, variety of fruits, fresh flowers, and most of all, his two lovable cats, Big Guy and Little Guy, whom we fell in love with immediately. Scott was always there when we needed him, he even came by to refill the water and take out trash for us on Father's Day! All of us spent much more time staying in than going out because of them! Another reason we chose to stay in is that we all love those two cozy couches, all of us have fallen asleep in either/both at least once. On our day of departure, we found it very difficult to say goodbye to Big Guy who's always there to welcome us "home" and curl up next to us when we watched TV or napped in the couch. If I must express my feelings for the stay with one sentence, I would say, "I left my heart in San Francisco!" There was a very special arrangement Scott made for us which definitely made our vacation more precious and memorable...a tour of the Animal Control Center where many small animals were rescued, cared and adopted. Scott's mother Toni is a very loving, caring and devoted lady, she has rescued thousands of kittens over the years, and has volunteered to take care of all the cats/kittens there. We were so lucky to meet her, whom I consider a saint, and were given a tour by her. Toni's endless, unconditional love and devotion inspire me to do more, give more and love more. We are very fortunate to meet this loving and caring mother-and-son team. There was another precious gift Scott had for us: his adorable daughter Sophia's cute dances and special messages, which were recorded just for us. We viewed those recordings over and over again during and after our trip. We cannot thank Scott enough for making our stay so special and memorable, we can't wait to go back again and again. Just like Scott said, "When you stay in my home, you are my family." Thank you, Scott, for adopting us, we will see you and your wonderful, loving and caring family very soon!"

  • Peaceful haven in a beautiful setting!

"If you are looking for a unique location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, look no further. There is nothing lacking in this home - comfort, artful design, spaciousness, beautiful views, a quiet neighborhood, and every amenity you could possibly need. The home was very clean, well-maintained, and my friends and I felt very safe and secure in there and the neighborhood. Choosing not to rent a car wasn't a problem since there are numerous bus stops conveniently located. We had no problem reaching any destination. Download the "Moovit" app if you choose to take public transportation. It was very helpful. Also, download the "uber" app vs. using taxis. The response time is fast, the cost is less than cabs, and there is no tipping! Be sure to make use of the house manual on the dining room table. It's loaded with helpful information - including neighborhood menus at the back! My friends and I were pleasantly surprised to meet the owner of the home who was welcoming and gracious. I would highly recommend this wonderful property for a memorable stay in San Francisco."
