  • Telegraph Hill Cottage Ideal for Location and Comfort

"Staying at the Cottage really added to our time in SF. It is very well appointed with a nice kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. We lacked nothing. The owners have thoughtfully provided for almost every need. We loved the views and hearing the bells of the nearby cathedral. Excellent restaurants were just steps away and Fisherman’s Wharf was just blocks away. We highly recommend this property which looks even better than the listing photos."

  • 4-day family trip to San Francisco

"This apartment was an excellent choice! The location was very central - we walked everywhere (AT&T Park, Fisherman's Wharf). There were 6 of us -- mom dad and kids between 16-27. We had more than enough room. The only reason I didn't give it an "excellent" was because of the HILLS (which have nothing to do with the apartment). We parked in a garage around the corner -- walking up the hill was tough! The Vallejo stairs took you to North Beach -- 96 of them. There were 34 steps to the apartment. The exercise we got was wonderful -- but boy was it tough. The apartment was nicely appointed and the beds were comfy. Beautiful view of the Bay Bridge from the living room and one of the bedrooms. I would definitely rent again!!"

  • Quiet residential neighborhood, good value!

"This studio met our need for a safe, quiet place in SF with access to public transit at a reasonable price. John, the owner, was easy to work with and responded promptly to messages. The studio is small, as reflected in the pictures, and not conducive to sitting around watching TV for long stretches (though there is a small TV to match the studio) - but we didn't go to the city to do that! The sense of security, location in a quiet residential neighborhood, and good value made up for the small space. The studio was clean, nicely furnished, and well-maintained. We had no problem finding long-term parking on another quiet nearby street, which was necessary because of daytime restrictions on the street the unit is located on. There were several good eateries and a couple of small grocers very close by, making it easy to find what we needed when we didn't want to venture out of the neighborhood. We had a wonderful dinner at a casual place called Pomelo, and great inexpensive Chinese food at Henry's, both within a block or two of the studio. Access to downtown via transit, and the nearby Mission and Castro districts was also convenient."
