"We usually stay in vacation rentals as we have found they tend to provide a more authentic snapshot of a destination. We were not disappointed with this rental! It was literally steps away from the entrance to Presidio Park and a short (10 minutes or less) drive to downtown SF. Great restaurants were all around the rental, Golden Gate Park was within walking distance, and the location provided very easy access to most of the city's major thoroughfares. We can't say enough good things about the rental and the owners are a big part of that. They made sure we were able to access the rental and were comfortable and settled in, and provided a prompt response to any and all of our inquiries. A great week in a very interesting city, with this rental being a wonderful base camp for the daily adventures!"

"My family of four plus my mother all really enjoyed the home. We loved being so close to GG park. Transportation was very easy to access with an app Amy sugested called "Moovit" which told us where to go for each bus we wanted to use. Drive or walk to get your muni pass just a few miles away at Cole Hardware store or Walgreens. I wish there were a few more restaurants within walking distance, but it really was pretty easy to hop on a bus. Our big SUV also fit in the garage, so we didn't feel the need to drive anywhere (except Muir Woods -- go early if you go!!!). To be a little picky, it would be nice if the downstairs bed was softer. It was very creaky when anyone moved and kind of hard. Other than that, the house has everything you will need and is so nice to relax in after a day in the city! We loved it!"

"We are a family of 5 with three girls ages 14,11, and 7. The nest was a perfect place for our family to call home for the week. It was very well provisioned, the best of any VRBO unit we've stayed in, and very clean. The location was unbeatable as well. Every morning started with a run in the park followed up with a coffee from the Cafe less than a block away!
We debated on using Uber and public trans or renting a car and we went with a small car. The garage underneath the building was priceless and this allowed us to come and go without having to worry about parking.
We are already talking about when we can come back, and we will be staying at the Duck's Nest again!"
