"This place exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again. The photos are true to the apartment and all amenities were available as promised. It was clean, spacious and in great shape. The kitchen and linen closet were well stocked. The chairs and beds were comfortable. There is a decent selection of books for your reading pleasure. I could tell that Erin has put in a lot of thought into trying to make renters' stay enjoyable/comfortable. It is about a 30 minute drive from downtown attractions (accounting for traffic and the like) but that wasn’t an issue for us. We had a car, so the garage came in handy. As others have said, there are restaurants and grocery stores a short drive from the apartment. It was reasonably priced compared to other places we considered. Erin was quick to respond to all inquiries."

"I don't know where to begin! We absolutely loved the studio apartment! We chose to buy 7 day Muni passes when we landed at the airport. It paid for itself by day 3! This was the second best decision we made. The first being the choice of the studio for our vacation. The property is walking distance to bus & trolley/tram stops, many restaurants, shops. It is the perfect size for two. We had breakfast at the apt most mornings. Had we chosen to eat lunch and dinner at the apt, there was everything we needed for light meals. The only downside for some would be the spiral stairs to get to the apt. After a long day of adventures, all we could say was "43 more steps to go!" But to have the wonderful accommodations and the outstanding views, it was worth every step! My husband and I tried to see as much of San Francisco as possible each and everyday. Our first day started at Alamo Square, lunch in Inner Richmond, Sutro Baths and hiking to China Beach. The next day began with Twin Peaks (I recommend it...the view is amazing!) and then on to exploring the Mission and Castro districts. Every day was an adventure!!! Seven days and we didn't go anywhere twice. And coming "home" to our little place in the sky made each day complete! We'd sit out on the rooftop...me with my glass of wine, my husband puffing on a cigar. Dana was a wonderful "landlord"! I had many questions before our arrival and he answered them all promptly. Once we were at the residence, he was still available for any questions we had. We would recommend this studio for your next trip to San Francisco, hands down! I am already working on getting back there soon!"

"This clean two bedroom apt met our needs perfectly - two comfortable queen beds and a blow-up queen mattress in the closet along with extra sheets and pillows, an adequate kitchen with large table, bath with shower, comfortable sectional in the living room (couch better for sleeping than blow-up mattress), outdoor patio with barbecue that we didn't use as it was raining. Photos give a good view of its casual (not fancy) nature. Brian and Leah were very responsive especially as the lock on the front door is a bit tricky at first."

"A nicely finished apartment, well back from the street. Location is pretty good, but you will have to walk for a few blocks to get around (Union square a few blocks North, nearest BART station a few blocks east). Just be aware of where you are walking in the evening, location is near Tenderloin which can be a bit dodgy at night.
Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. Owners leave a wealth of information for tourists. Bed was reasonably comfortable, if not a little small for a couple in that week's heat. Lighting in the bathroom was a little dim.
Great place to stay if you are in town for a period of time, and like your independence."
