  • Wonderful sanctuary in Russian Hill

"We had a fantastic time here - the apartment is beautiful and furnished with everything we could possibly need. Mark, the owner, was really helpful and kind and the neighbours were very friendly too, which was nice as we were new to the neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our time both in the apartment and in Russian Hill - I felt very lucky to be there. We could ride the cable cars or take the bus to get to other parts of SF easily, but at the same time we were just around the corner from great restaurants like Frascati, Luella and Amarena, sushi at Okoze, and loads of great places to eat and drink on Polk Street, two blocks down. And so close to Swensen's ice cream parlour - way too much temptation! Fortunately there are hills everywhere to work off the ice cream intake. The view from the apartment (and the roof terrace) is amazing. Would love to go back, and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Mark!"

  • Our second stay - excellent in every way (again!)

"This really is the perfect unit for a family with 2 children. The kids love seeing the bay from their bunk bed window! Perfect location to the marina, Golden Gate bridge, Pier 39 and Lombard/Chestnut restaurants. Neat and clean unit. Fantastic. Thanks, John!"

  • Great flat in San Francisco with the comforts of home

"The flat is absolutely beautiful -- large, sunny, clean and comfortable. It is well stocked with everything from blankets to pots and pans and ziplock bags. Having a spot in the garage is a nice bonus since parking in the Marina can be quite difficult. You can hear some street noise when you are in the living room but it is not too busy of a street (and it is a city after all) but the bedrooms are absolutely quiet and the beds are comfortable. We lived in the City many years ago but enjoyed showing the sites to our young sons. The apartment is a short 20-25 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and just 2 quick blocks to Chestnut Street which is full of great restaurants, bars and shops. Evelyn was very responsive and I highly recommend renting the flat. We hope to stay here again next time we come to visit San Francisco."

  • spacious arts & Crafts House Inner sunset, san francisco bay area. california

"I spent 3 weeks in June at this rental with two granddaughters (one was attending SF Ballet). It is a delightful house, filled with wonderful art. It was within easy walking distance of trains and buses, which we used to travel all over San Francisco. I would recommend this rental to anyone."

South Beach Travel Tips

Choose South Beach Vacation Homes in San Francisco

San Francisco is a beautiful travel destination with a ton of activities and sights. It is also an expensive city because of the mass amounts of tourists. When traveling to a touristy location such as San Francisco, set yourself apart from the crowd. Whether in the city for work or play, San Francisco vacation rentals are perfect lodging choices. You can find reasonably priced lodging that often has familiar amenities. If you stay in one of our South Beach vacation homes, you will feel as much a part of the city as the Bay or Lombard Street.

Tons of Activities In and Out of the City

No matter your reason for visiting San Francisco, you should still see everything you have time to see. One major draw for visitors is the annual gay pride parade. Regardless of your sexuality, the parade is great fun and is generally likened to a city-wide block party. Staying in South Beach vacation apartments means that you can easily come and go to this and other festivals as you see fit. Definitely try to get out on the Bay – it is unlikely that you will see a more beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Become Famous During a Trip

With the huge draw of San Francisco and its recognizable landmarks, many filmmakers record scenes in the city. While perhaps not done as much as in Hollywood itself, here you might be able to get into a scene as an extra for your fifteen minutes of fame. Or, maybe you'll hobnob with some actors or actresses and decide to invite a group to dinner at your "home." Choose South Beach vacation apartments or South Beach vacation homes and you'll avoid the embarrassment of telling them to meet at a hotel.
