  • Exceptional!

"This is a single family home in North Beach with a deck and small garden, which is extraordinary in of itself. But then the decor is delightful! The pictures are accurate, although it is even better in person. It is far enough away from Fisherman's Wharf to be quiet and close enough to North Beach neighborhood to walk everywhere. Two grocery stores literally around the corner, cafe with amazing coffee at the end of the street, and Aquatic Beach Park a 5-10 minute walk. We have rented countless homes through VRBO over the years and this owner is so accommodating and thoughtful. June goes to great lengths to make sure her guests are comfortable and feel appreciated. All the extras are provided - coffee, sugar, olive oil, tea and other personal touches. We recommend this gorgeous home without hesitation!"

  • Very comfortable stay

"We recently stayed for three nights at the Noe Valley/Mission apartment. It was the perfect size for my husband, 16-year old son, and me. The bedroom was spacious and gave us much more space than if we were in a hotel. Also, we had a vehicle, and parking was not a problem in the neighborhood, although we chose to ride public transportation as well. The coffee shop around the corner was very convenient, and the little 26th Street market just a couple of blocks away was great to pick up a few basics for breakfast and snacks. I also really enjoyed the nice deck our front. The beds and bedding were comfortable and it was nice to have the washer and dryer in the unit. Valencia Street, nearby, has a lot of nice small restaurants and stores to explore, and of course, the Mission District has outstanding Mexican and South American Food. I would certainly consider staying at this apartment again!"

  • Three night stay was very good

"My fiancee and I stayed at this property for three nights. The apartment is quite clean, more spacious than the photos appeared, which is a first, and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the back yard and porch were picturesque. The apartment was easily accessible and in a wonderful area of San Francisco. My fiancee is allergic to gluten and we had no difficulty accommodating her diet in this area. The only difficulty we found was that there is very little sound proofing, which is common in San Francisco in my experience. This made sleep somewhat difficult in the mornings and late at night as the apartment next door was in the process of construction in their back yard. Additionally, you will hear clearly the people in the apartment above and their dog. I would happily stay here again and I recommend it, however I also would recommend ear plugs or a noise machine for any light sleepers. The apartment isn't wheelchair accessible, it has a step up to the door and a step down into the apartment, and it sits on a sloped sidewalk. Despite this, it is an extremely accessible apartment, very minimal stairs, and easy to navigate once inside. Therefore for anyone who has some mobility difficulties, this apartment would be a great choice. Pam, who rents the apartment, was very easy to get in touch with through email, extremely polite, punctual, and professional. Thanks so much for your apartment, our stay was a pleasure."

  • Business is business

"We arrived at 2.00pm when check in was at 4.00pm so I asked Patty if there was a possibility for us 5 (amongst us 2 ladies ages 80 and 73) just to pop in to leave or luggage and come back after 4.00 The answer was yes but the cost would be of 50$ !!!!! "it is for the inconvenience of the house keeper, since she has to work around the luggage" !!! I doubt the housekeeper got a cent from this money. Nevertheless I must say we enjoyed the house which was exaclty as we expected, with a fantastic view, charming neighbourhood, shops 10mn walking. Reaching dowtown takes a bit of time but we knew that before renting the apartment. It was not a problem for us. Bedding was very confortable. Now a few things I wouldn't have mentioned if I hadn't had pay this extra charge: we kept the toilet doorhandle in hand when closing door. We had the same problem with the tap handle, same room. The pans handles were sticky and a there were a few stains on the walls probably left by travellers luggage as well as some handprints. The facade needs to be repainted, the painting is peeling (one can consider it gives charm to the property). We have never met the person in charge of the property nor the owner."
