"This is a great rental. Large and spacious and quiet with beautiful views everywhere. Very peaceful. Great design too. Beach is an easy five-minute walk away; you can see the beach from the house. Nice "lived-in" feeling — modest furnishings, nothing fancy, but clean and functional, and has everything we needed (very well stocked kitchen, linens, patio chairs and tables, etc.). Superb location too, very convenient to everything, downtown and airport and all the major sights."

"My fiancee and I stayed at this property for three nights. The apartment is quite clean, more spacious than the photos appeared, which is a first, and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the back yard and porch were picturesque. The apartment was easily accessible and in a wonderful area of San Francisco. My fiancee is allergic to gluten and we had no difficulty accommodating her diet in this area.
The only difficulty we found was that there is very little sound proofing, which is common in San Francisco in my experience. This made sleep somewhat difficult in the mornings and late at night as the apartment next door was in the process of construction in their back yard. Additionally, you will hear clearly the people in the apartment above and their dog. I would happily stay here again and I recommend it, however I also would recommend ear plugs or a noise machine for any light sleepers.
The apartment isn't wheelchair accessible, it has a step up to the door and a step down into the apartment, and it sits on a sloped sidewalk. Despite this, it is an extremely accessible apartment, very minimal stairs, and easy to navigate once inside. Therefore for anyone who has some mobility difficulties, this apartment would be a great choice.
Pam, who rents the apartment, was very easy to get in touch with through email, extremely polite, punctual, and professional. Thanks so much for your apartment, our stay was a pleasure."

"After backpacking in Yosemite for 3 nights, arriving at this gorgeous property in the sunset district was a much appreciated change of pace! Elegant and unique, the apartment is clean and stocked with most everything you will need to cook with in the kitchen. The location is great...I think you get a better sense of the city by staying in a "real" neighborhood as opposed to the touristy Fisherman's Wharf and the like. You are a half mile from Golden Gate Park which is a great place to go for a run, and you're within walking distance to the the very charming Haight-Ashbury neighborhood (which boasts some pretty good breweries). My boyfriend and I are fans of exploring the city on our feet and using public transit, both of which you can do easily from this location. Granted the MUNI is slow, it's still a pretty interesting way to see the city. Micahel, the owner, is super nice and accommodating and I would definitely book with him for any future trips to SF. This property is well taken care of and the price is great - don't waste your money on a chain hotel - stay with Michael."

"The accommodations were exactly as depicted, it was elegantly simple- very warm and welcoming space for her guests. The property was very clean and very well maintained. I have to say the location was absolutely marvelous, easy access to public transportation and wonderful places to explore and interesting people to get to know.
Susan made herself available and never took long to respond to a question- she has a nice welcome manual with instructions and helpful tips for her guests. I would highly recommend staying here; truly it allows you to feel like you're just coming home. Wonderful property/location.
I enjoyed La Boulange and the Crepe place down Cole, only a couple blocks over from this space. Truly though, restaurants are in no short supply in San Francisco you will love all that is within reach from this space's location. Being so close to Golden Gate Park was wonderful with all of the trails to take in all the beautiful sights. Finally, having public transportation that was so close and so reliable to the space truly put me at ease to explore the city.
Thanks again Susan for having such an awesome space available."
