  • Great House and Location

"Some friends and I stayed here in August. The house was perfect and and the owners very accommodating. I would stay here again. The location of the house could not get any better. Easy access to anything you want to see or do in San Francisco."

  • Perfect stay

"I loved my stay in this charming apartment. It had everything I needed for a comfortable week-long stay, including a computer! I especially liked the little patio area. It was so nice to relax there after a busy day in more hectic parts of the city. The location is also very convenient. There are lots of nice restaurants and shops just 2 blocks away and public transportation lines that can take you to all parts of the city. You really don't need a car when you stay here. Michael was very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend the Garden Suite to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while visiting San Francisco."

  • Attractive, comfortable and close to Golden Gate Park

"We enjoyed our time at this condo. It was quiet, clean and in a safe neighborhood. Our introduction and orientation were provided by Victoria, who was awesomely helpful in her enthusiastic advice and information. We walked many times into Golden Gate park and enjoyed the Botanical Garden and the California Academy of Science. The nearby and convenient public transit system on the NJudah or the buses allowed us to get into the city without driving hassles. Nearby grocery shopping was convenient. Would recommend this property to friends and relatives. The ethernet and cable TV worked very well, the wifi faded away from the street. There are laundry facilities in the garage level that are pay as you use machines. There is a laptop and printer provided in one of the bedrooms."

  • Great for travelers with pets

"My husband and I travel with our two small dogs and this place was perfect for all four of us. We loved being able to walk to the beach or to Golden Gate Park (about 5 blocks away). The weather was chilly, but Diane had 2 space heaters ready for us, so we were always warm and comfy. Diane recommended several places nearby (bakery, grocer, restaurant, etc) and we tried most of them... delish! We also found Polly Ann Ice Cream on Noriega, about a mile from the property and loved their quirky flavors. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again."

Sunset Travel Tips

Enjoy San Francisco through Sunset Vacation Homes

When traveling to San Francisco, why not lodge in style? Atour Sunset vacation homes, you can affordably experience beautiful downtown San Francisco with all the comforts of home. Among other reasons, San Francisco vacation rentals are great lodging choices for the fact that you will have less packing to worry about doing before your trip. Sunset vacation apartments or homes will likely have many of the amenities that you would have in your own residence, so it is no problem if you forget to bring something.

Sights and Sounds of the City

There are numerous references to San Francisco in popular culture, from films to songs to books. These references were made and still are made with good cause. The city has so much to do that it will not be difficult for travelers to leave their Sunset vacation homes for a day of sightseeing. From South Beach to Lombard Street to the famous music venue The Fillmore, there is something to do and see for all travelers. Due to the hilly nature of San Francisco, many guided tours are done not by foot, but by Segway. This allows you to see more of the city from a pedestrian point of view, instead of riding a tour bus all day. The best part about it is that you will be close to everything and living like a local during your stay.

Don't Pay for Unnecessary Amenities

If you stay in a hotel, the price of a room includes things you may not use. If you will be swimming in the bay instead of the hotel pool, why pay for it? Sunset vacation apartments and homes allow you to pick and choose based on the available selection, so you do not pay for unused amenities.
