  • Exactly what we were after

"The apartment met our expectations in all respects and was ideal for our 10 days in San Francisco. It was more comfortable, cleaner, tidier and better stocked than we had experienced anywhere in many decades of renting apartments for our travels. We hired a small car for the duration of our stay as we needed to get around to a variety of places, so the parking in the apartment basement was great. For visits to Union Square and downtown SF, it was an easy twenty minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at the Hillstone Restaurant (a one minute walk away) and had a few good meals at Pier 39 (almost opposite the Hillstone) and in the Italian Sector (about a mile away). The broadband was excellent and the support from the owners was first class. We hope the apartment is available next time we visit SF."

  • Great place.

"We stayed 4 nights in this charming apartment and would do so again without hesitation. Great location, perfect size for a couple, 2 blocks from the action in Little Italy and Chinatown but not at all noisy. Highly recommended."

  • Great rental for fit families.

"Our family of 6 stayed in the penthouse for 4 nights between Xmas and New Years. Our main goal was to see the NFL game in Levi Stadium tacking on a few days to see SF. Not a prime location for the football game as the stadium is 2 hours south in Santa Clara, but it was ideal for sightseeing SF without a car. As mentioned in other reviews the condo is up a hill and 34 steps, but the effort is rewarded with wonderful views. The bathrooms had good water pressure for showers and nice towels. The living room is small but worked for the little amount if time we spent in it. There were several TVs but we never turned them on. Beds were very comfortable and rooms had lots of room for our luggage and clothing. Many italian restaurants nearby if heading west on Vallejo towards Columbus. Broadway just south of the condo was a little seedy and we avoided that area late at night but otherwise had no concerns with our safety walking to and from dinner spots. Wear your walking shoes and you can get to pretty much everything from this location. SF public transit is also excellent and we used it for further excursions. Will be back here for our next SF trip!"

  • Awesome place for an awesome city

"This little apartment was just great! It has everything you need and the view is just spectacular. You're right under Coit Tower so there are a few steep hills to reach the flat, but it's worth it once you do. Place has a full kitchen with everything you need to cook meals, but there's no need as North Beach is a 5 minute walk and the food there is delicious! A quick walk uphill to coit tower and you have beautiful views of the city from the golden gate bridge to the financial district. Checking in and out was simply and easy, and the place has 2 fireplaces for any super chilly days. I've stayed in 2 other places in the city and this was by far the best, and will be my first choice when I go back to San Francisco. Thanks for everything!"
