  • Great location...perfect set-up for 2

"Excellent location, centrally located to everything. Great food nearby in Chinatown and Little Italy. The 2 passes for cable car and BART bring significantly added value. Apartment is clean. We would definitely stay again. The only complaint is that the hide-a-bed is older and uncomfortable."

  • Great option if you need to sleep 4-6 people

"We stayed 5 nights, the unit was clean and as described. Felt safe knowing the owners were one floor above us. We had 4 adults and loved having the space, especially two bathrooms. Nearby restaurant "Ella" was recommended and a good breakfast option. Owners are very easy to work with. Highly recommend taking a cab if you are not use to driving in the city; it is very busy, parking is hard to find and the hills are very steep. A cab ride or uber was usually around $10-$15. Note: if you use uber, check online to see if the rate is "standard" or increased due to high volume "surge pricing". Wifi was easy to connect to. One suggestion for owners would be to invest in some nicer pillows for the beds. Highlight of our trip was a bike ride over the Golden Gate bridge and on into Sausalito, then took the ferry back. We would stay here again."

  • Excellent month-long rental

"We rented this amazing apartment for a month in the process of moving from New York to San Francisco. We found the sunroom to be exactly as advertized and the photos represent the space well. What the photos can't fully capture is how amazing the views are - totally worth the climb up the winding stairs! The views of the hills and valleys give a great iconic San Francisco feel. This is a great place to stay to get a taste of a residential neighborhood, with lots to do in walking distance and easy access to all parts of the city via public transit. Dana was the perfect host - not intrusive but always available with help or suggestions. For people looking to really explore San Francisco while enjoying amazing views in a comfortable studio, you can't find anything better than this."

  • Great house for a group

"This is a great house that made us feel like we were visiting the real San Francisco. Four business associates stayed while in town for a show at Moscone Center. The location is convenient to transportation and walking for eating. I wish we had another week in town to explore the area. I must also say that literally the first person we saw walking down the street when we pulled up was naked. So be prepared for a real SF experience and just go with the flow. The house was large and well appointed. Everything we needed was there and Elizabeth & Anthony made us feel very welcome to stay and care for it as if we were at home. There is much evidence of family & family activities around the house and a lot of the kids artwork on the walls. If you expect sterile and clean with no evidence of anyone else having been there then this place is not ideal for you, but if warm and homey are good with you, then settle on in. The fact that it has a garage made renting a car easy. The garage is a bit difficult to get in and out of and will probably take the effort of two people (a guide) until you are used to it, but it is a plus. I see someone else commented also, the issue is the incline makes visibility difficult and the pedestrians, traffic, parked cars and a nice tree in a bad place make it hard to manage without experience. Bottom line is I would go stay again without hesitation and I think that is the best recommendation I could give."
