"The Penthouse in the Marina is absolutely stunning. It is perfectly located across from Fort Mason with amazing views of the Golden Gate bridge. We have always stayed at the Inn at the Presidio, but have never liked its lack of air conditioning. Now we have a new favorite place to stay! There is so much to like about this well appointed and charming property. There is a terrace off the living room that has incredible views of the the Golden Gate bridge and the bay, as well as the rooftop deck that has panoramic views of all of San Francisco. There is no furniture on the rooftop deck so we preferred to use that at night and enjoy the terrace during the day as there was better shade. It is located up several flights of stairs so groceries and lots of luggage might be difficult, but we parked for a few minutes right in front to unload and it did not seem to be a problem. There are two beds in one bedroom so it is certainly not an ideal property for two couples traveling, but for one couple or a few friends it would be very comfortable. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room I think, but there are no window coverings so I would not recommend this as a sleeping option. There is one bathroom and a well appointed kitchen. There are neighbors with children, but the noise from the other tenants was very minimal. They even had a party one night we were there and we heard very little from that apartment. We walked everywhere from this very central location and could not be happier with our choice. The penthouse really does have million dollar views. We hope we can stay here for all future visits to SF.
Note: The shower takes a long time to warm up but we discovered that turning on the water and turning the knob two and a half times clockwise and then letting it run for about 5 minutes before getting in worked out very well. Once it is hot you can adjust the temp quickly."

"This is a wonderful condo with the added bonus of all the amenities of a Fairmont Hotel. The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children). We had a two bedroom each with its own bath. The full kitchen with a proper dining area was very nice to have!! The condo is wonderfully laid out with abundant natural light and everything is very clean and well maintained -- nice decor, too. The beds are lovely!! We loved the location, it was easy for us to explore all over SF from this very central spot. The Fairmont house car came in handy on many of our excursions.
Beverly was wonderful to work with -- professional and attentive."

"We stayed 4 nights in Jay's apartment and loved it. There were four of us (2 kids) and found it to be plenty roomy for our needs. Loved the vintage furnishings and decorations. Absolutely loved the deck, very impressive! You can walk to public transportation easily as well as many restaurants near by. If you stay make sure you check out the murals in the Mission District, very cool. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Eric the owner lives above the apartment and he was very good about giving us our space. The apartment is very clean and cozy; there is plenty of room for two or three people to stretch out. This place is a quick 15 minute walk to the Glen Park BART station so renting a car is not necessary at all. We traveled all over San Fransisco and back and forth from the airport on the BART. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood late at night. Eric is a wonderful host; one morning he walked with me to the local coffee shop and he even offered to drive us to the airport. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thank you Eric for a wonderful stay!"
