  • Perfect get away, I give it a '10'

"We loved our stay in SF, the property was just as advertised. June had everything perfect right down to the beautiful Christmas tree that was all lit up when we arrived. We were within walking distance to the wharf and lots of shopping. The neighborhood was nice and not once even at night walking did we ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We would love to go back to SF and will want to stay at the same place. Thanks June."

  • Wonderful property!

"My husband and I stayed here December 4-7, 2014, with our 2 teen kids, age 19 and 16. The flat is beautifully decorated, with original details preserved in the beautiful woodwork, floors and doors. The flat was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and our son slept great on the sofa in the front room. There are great views from the kitchen and back parlor of the bay, bay bridge, St. Peter & Paul Cathedral, Coit Tower and Alcatraz. The location is incredibly convenient! We bought a muni pass, road the Powell Mason cable car from around the corner and caught busses to and from nearby Stockton Street. We walked to Coit Tower, to the famous Lombard Street, and to North Beach for great meals. We highly recommend this property, and would definitely stay here again! The owners were very easy to deal with and very responsive to all e-mail inquiries."

  • Cannot say enough good things about this house and our stay

"We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home is both stunning and wonderfully comfortable. The photos are great, but they do not do justice to the design and craftsmanship of the home. Our whole family (three kids eight and under) loved the home. Our kids would say they wanted to go back "home" while going to many of the sites around the city, and we could not blame them. The neighborhood is quaint and only a few blocks from terrific shopping and restaurants, and the views are amazing. Especially from the third floor. The home exceeded our expectations, but what really made our time so nice were the owners. They could not have been more organized, helpful, welcoming and warm. My only hesitation in writing this review is that I am concerned that the word will get out and we certainly plan on coming back. A highly recommend home and experience!"

  • Views, Views, Views!!

"The Penthouse in the Marina is absolutely stunning. It is perfectly located across from Fort Mason with amazing views of the Golden Gate bridge. We have always stayed at the Inn at the Presidio, but have never liked its lack of air conditioning. Now we have a new favorite place to stay! There is so much to like about this well appointed and charming property. There is a terrace off the living room that has incredible views of the the Golden Gate bridge and the bay, as well as the rooftop deck that has panoramic views of all of San Francisco. There is no furniture on the rooftop deck so we preferred to use that at night and enjoy the terrace during the day as there was better shade. It is located up several flights of stairs so groceries and lots of luggage might be difficult, but we parked for a few minutes right in front to unload and it did not seem to be a problem. There are two beds in one bedroom so it is certainly not an ideal property for two couples traveling, but for one couple or a few friends it would be very comfortable. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room I think, but there are no window coverings so I would not recommend this as a sleeping option. There is one bathroom and a well appointed kitchen. There are neighbors with children, but the noise from the other tenants was very minimal. They even had a party one night we were there and we heard very little from that apartment. We walked everywhere from this very central location and could not be happier with our choice. The penthouse really does have million dollar views. We hope we can stay here for all future visits to SF. Note: The shower takes a long time to warm up but we discovered that turning on the water and turning the knob two and a half times clockwise and then letting it run for about 5 minutes before getting in worked out very well. Once it is hot you can adjust the temp quickly."
