  • Convenient and happy cottage

"The Clipper Cottage is lovely, convenient, and very welcoming. The owner is on property and is happy to help with anything or to give you privacy. After a busy day in San Francisco, it is very nice to walk through the gate, cross a little garden, and escape into your own little world. The skylights ensure that the cottage has an open feeling. The kitchen is surprisingly well equipped with utensils as well as condiments for cooking. The washer/dryer made for easy packing and managing of the clothes. Noe Valley is a delightful neighborhood with great restaurants, charming shops, and a Whole Foods. We had a car for the first week of our stay which worked out fine but we had great pleasure and ease traveling on public transportation for the remainder of our stay and we went everywhere. The buses, light rail, and cable cars are convenient and frequent. Honestly, it's a lot easier than trying to park a car in some parts of the city. We are looking forward to a return trip at some point. Our only suggestion would be to make more room in the bedroom so that a table and lamp could be placed on the other side of the bed. Do come here...it is a very happy place to be."

  • Telegraph Hill Cottage Ideal for Location and Comfort

"Staying at the Cottage really added to our time in SF. It is very well appointed with a nice kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. We lacked nothing. The owners have thoughtfully provided for almost every need. We loved the views and hearing the bells of the nearby cathedral. Excellent restaurants were just steps away and Fisherman’s Wharf was just blocks away. We highly recommend this property which looks even better than the listing photos."

  • Yes, yes, yes!!

"I can only say great things about this rental. It was immaculately clean, bright, airy and sunny, and the kitchen is a true gem.....It is the center of the house and completely outfitted to cook breakfast for one, or dinner for 6 or 7.....The owner has figured out that the formula for happy renters is to have comfortable beds, a powerful shower head and easy, easy access to public transportation. This place has it all, plus a property manager who is delightful to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit San Francisco......It has super easy access to the J Church Muni line which connects to get you anywhere in the city easily......and I loved coming home after a busy day, or later in the evening to this quiet, charming, very safe neighborhood.....I would heartily recommend it!!"

  • Great location, great price, great working with owners.

"Owners were in wonderful contact with us before after and during our stay. Great central location on Nob Hill. we walked to Pier 33 for our Alcatraz tour- the audio tour was AWESOME (Coit Tower on the way), then walked to Fisherman's wharf, Ghirardelli Square and walked back home. Trader Joes is a block off California and VERY convenient to pick up food to prepare meals. Took Cable Car off Hyde street down to Ghirardellie Square and then picked up bus out to Golden Gate Bridge. Was a great clear day for a walk and view of the city and Alcatraz. Bus was convenient to and from bus stops. The bummer at GGB- very few bathrooms and a long wait. Walked from this flat to Chinatown and ate at the Stinking Rose- great food! Sadly the washer/dryer was broken but owners offered to pay if we had cleaning done. Complimentary wine but no water. The extra bed in the photo next to the queen was no longer there- we had to use the pull out sofa bed. Loved the BearClaw Tub. coffee filters available as well as some basic spices. Dishsoap, dishwasher soap, TP and papertowels a plenty. Didn't realize extra bathing towels were in main bedroom closet until the day we left. Parked at the Masonic Temple Parking Garage 2 blocks away. Great stay- thanks!"
