  • Absolutely lovely!

"This is truly the perfect rental in San Francisco. It is beautifully decorated and spotless, and at the same time makes you feel cozy and comfortable. I was extremely relaxed during my stay here and didn't want to leave! It is incredibly stocked with anything you will ever need. I loved its location in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and just blocks from Golden Gate Park. We had the pleasure of meeting its owner, Juliette, who was very welcoming and helpful. I will be returning to stay at her lovely flat as soon as know my next dates!"

  • Fantastic Home in the Presidio

"Thank you for having such a beautiful home. I did not know what to expect, but it was more than my family could have wished for in a house rental. The house was very large and clean, and we are a family of five and we all had our own space. While the house had all the modern amenities, the charm of this Victorian home was present everywhere. The home is on a very pretty dead end street and from the kitchen you can see easily see the Presidio golf course. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful so it made sleeping a bit later in the morning quite easy. The kitchen had every gadget and within walking distance you can shop at two markets. One had very excellent prepared foods. The food is pretty remarkable in San Francisco and I grew up in NYC. We made visits to Golden Gate Park, played golf course twice and went to Planet Granite. I had never been to San Francisco before but the charm of the house would entice me to come back. I do hope the state of California get some well needed rain."

  • Perfect for a long stay

"We have stayed at this apartment many times in the past several years, most recently in June 2014. It is everything one could expect from a San Francisco vacation rental and more. Look at the pictures, they do a great job of showing you exactly what you will be getting. Many reviewers have noted the fantastic roof deck—the views are fantastic. Fewer mention how great the kitchen is—it is the best kitchen I've every had in a vacation rental. Even in San Francisco I get tired of going out to eat. This kitchen has everything I need to prepare a meal; lots of pots and pans, lots of tableware and glasses and, most importantly, knives that really work! Elizabeth and Phil have been incredibly responsive when something happens (like the internet going down). I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a roomy place close to, but not in the middle of, wonderful North Beach."

  • Nice apartment

"I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 children. We only ate breakfast here but my husband did cook eggs and used some of the supplies to make hot chocolate. We weren't informed that it was Gay Pride weekend and that the street would be closed down for a huge block party. We were surprised when we got off the metro that was a block and a half away to find a huge party and some naked men. Even though the property is set back behind the building on the main street the music was blaring. I'm not sure when it finally got quiet but we all had a hard time falling asleep due to the music. We had to sign house rules saying we would be quiet. We did have a car since we were travelling all around CA and were able to find a parking space a couple blocks away on Noe St. We were there over the weekend so it was fine. We used public transportation to get around the city and it was a bit confusing. It would have been nice to have some brochures of some activities. It would have been especially helpful to have a MUNI, public transportation, maps. We went to the wharf, Blue and Gold boat tour called the Rock, walked on the Golden Gate Bridge and went along the coast to get to the airport from Lands End where we had great views of the GG bridge. I wish we would have had more time to go to the beach. The place was at a good location but not for the weekend we came."
