Garden of Eden
"My boyfriend and I have been here for two weeks of our eight month stay while he attends the ACAP program at CIA. From the moment we walked into the apartment it immediately became home. Susan greeted us with a warm welcome, big smile and fresh flowers. The garden, in the midst of California's great draught, is plush with figs, persimmons, herbs and soon to be pomegranates all in our backyard!
Susan has been a wonderful host who really knows the area and is well connected in the community. She has hosted me for a lovely dinner (she's a great cook and conversationalist), directed us to great hiking and invited me along to yoga classes, which I look forward to attending with her.
The property is ideally located a short 7 minute walk from Oxbow Market and downtown Napa. There is a lovely yoga studio just at the end of the road, a 3 minute walk from home and the Napa Farmers Market just down the way twice a week!
Then there is Lucca. One of the highlights of the property, aside from the garden. Lucca is sweet, friendly and adorable. A true delight to come home to.
We are thrilled with our accommodations and look forward to our months ahead exploring Napa from this sweet homestead!"

"This was a beautiful place to stay. We had a party of 8 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. The views and sunsets were amazing. We cooked in most everyday. Being a group that likes to cook, we found the pots and pans needed to be updated. The silverware was unusable, very tarnished and dirty. We went and bought some plastic ware for our stay. Also, the outdoor grill is a very small Weber grill, so for a larger group (5 or more) two batches of meat needed to be grilled. We also had a problem with ants and fruit flies. The water/ice maker in the refrigerator did not work, and the oven doors did not close completely. Updates or maintenance should be made to the main appliances. Other than that we had a great stay...beautiful sunsets and relaxing evenings."

"What a great cottage! It's cozy and charming. The kitchen has pretty much any gadget you might need. The deck is great with an outdoor hot tub and bbq. Truly a relaxing little get-a-way that is comfortable, easy and well-appointed. Thank you Lydia for sharing your lovely little Redwood forest cottage! I would love to come back in the fall or winter when the creek is full and rushing by."

"Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with friends and family. Beyond the beautiful accommodations, this house offers a nice kitchen and outdoor grill area for cooking, stocked with all of the utensils, appliances and cookware one might need. We were here in May and enjoyed watching dolphins/porpoises and whales very close to the shore. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway."
