Fantastic, tasteful apartment in central San Francisco
"What a great place to stay. You cannot go wrong if you choose this great apartment sight unseen like I did. What strikes you most is all the great interior decorating that has gone into the place. Mainly earth tones but the living room and dining have a lot of burnt orange with black and white artwork and it looks really good. Also there is a BBQ deck off the kitchen and then another garden right off two of the bedrooms where there are Japanese maples growing. We also went up to the top floor to the roof garden which has great views. The apartment has a large kitchen with a huge subzero fridge and a European dishwasher. It also has a washer and dryer so that was great. We met the owner Patricia one evening and she was very nice and she had earlier sent up a "places to Go List" which was very helpful."

"Very comfy, cozy & homey little studio for me, my husband and 4 year old daughter’s weekend get-a-way! We really liked the neighborhood and the bakery on the corner was absolutely awesome, perfect spot for our morning coffee and pastries! We didn't know what really to expect in the various districts, but we felt very safe in this area. The Studio was neat & clean. The little kitchen area was great, equipped with everything we needed. The garden outside the studio was very nice. The owners made it very easy to check in & access the Studio when we arrived, even if they were not available. Parking was actually easy for us; we got very lucky in finding a spot close by. Some of the furnishings could stand a little spiffing up and maybe a loveseat added, but overall, a wonderful place for us to stay over the weekend & the price was certainly just right! We will definitely consider staying there again! The only downfall so far - we have yet to receive our security deposit we've paid."

"Truly lovely. This house is exactly as described and is exactly as the pictures portray it to be. We enjoyed the house for 4 nights but wished for more. There were 4 adults and 4 younger children in our group. While the house is set up to sleep 6, they included an inflatable air bed which was more than adequate to sleep our group.
The location could not be more perfect - set atop a small cliff, a few steps off the back porch to a very private, secluded beach. The views over the ocean are incredible and there are wrap around decks on both levels to take in all in. The kids spent every moment on the beach. The home owners provided a ton of sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Hours were spent walking along the shore, collecting shells/stones, creating habitats for the hermit crabs we found (and then releasing them), reading books, building sand castles, etc. The water is cold but they kids didn't seem to mind wading, splashing and very fast swims.
The house itself is very well appointed - we found everything we needed to prepare meals and used the grill several times. Each morning and evening were spent in the upper living room just taking in the views, listening to the surf and watching the sunset. It was gorgeous and so peaceful.
We are already planning to return as aside from enjoying the house, this area of the coast offers many activities. We did go down to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz one afternoon which was a fun change of pace and also LOVED Big Basin Redwoods State Park (though it was a bit of a drive). The town of Pescadero is about 10 minutes away and has a restaurant, small grocery store and coffee shop. We also liked the coffee/pastries offered in Davenport a few miles south. Less than a half mile from the house is a state beach called Bean Hollow which was perfect for a morning run along the ocean and they also have a sandy beach.
The owners are kind and easy to work with. THIS place is a true gem!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment in Noe Valley. The apartment is located on the first two floors of a Victorian house and was equipped with everything our family of 6 needed. There is a back deck and garden, and the neighborhood is quiet, and only a few blocks from good eateries and botique shops. I appreciated the attention to detail by the owners, they provide a booklet with helpful neighborhood tips. Parking on the street was easy even for a family with a minivan, at most we ended up a half a block away."
