  • A good place in a good spot!

"We really enjoyed our stay in Oakland this time because of this flat. It is close to many good grocery stores and restaurants, is an enjoyable neighborhood to walk around and has easy access to the freeway. Lisa is an excellent hostess and worked hard to make sure we had all we needed for our entire vacation! Another bonus was the ability to park our rental car off the street in the driveway. We look forward to our next trip and to taking advantage of this apartment!"

  • San Francisco Gem

"My wife and I just concluded a one month stay at this property and we were impressed with the accommodations, view, location, management company, etc... Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the SFO Bay was a great way to start the day. The parrots of Telegraph Hill often paid us a visit each day. They were so close you could almost reach out and touch them as they dined on the berries from the nearby trees. The unit came equipped with everything we needed. It was wonderful to watch the fog roll in and out of the SFO Bay throughout our stay. You could even hear the harbor seals during the day. When we could see clear to Sausalito, we knew the weather would be perfect that day. The location was fabulous. One needs to be ready to tackle the hills though, but it is worth it. The end of the street is what we called the secret garden, a beautiful garden walk down to Leavenworth St. We took it every few nights when we wanted to get some gelato in Little Italy. The management company and owners were very accommodating whenever we had a request. The neighbors were also very friendly. They made us feel at home. We will definitely be back..."

  • Let's keep this between us

"This is the kind of special place you don't want to tell too many people about. I hesitate to write about it but I can't resist singing its praises. It's beautiful in a spare, casual elegant style. We loved the all-white motif, but those who like fussy interiors will find this place too Spartan. It's immaculate and up to date, very well maintained. Views are wonderful. Walls are mostly windows. We had cloudy days, but most days the sunsets here would be great. It's quiet and isolated, but easy to get to and close enough to Point Reyes. Ann's recommendation that we try Nick's Cove for dinner was spot-on. If you stay here, don't miss it. I would definitely come here again. We had the North Suite. From what I could tell, it was bigger and had better views than the South one. Even though someone was in there, right next door, we never felt intruded on. This place is great for couples, not for families. Dump the kids on grandma and chill here!"

  • Perfect location & relaxing.

"My husband & I had a wonderful time staying here for a week. It was like a home away from home. The cottage was the perfect size and there was so much natural light coming in thru the skylights that made the house feel so cheery & cozy. It was very nicely decorated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The added bonus was having the outside space and a washer & dryer. There is a deck in the front & in the back. We had coffee every morning out on the front deck. It was a great way to start your morning before heading down the street to Moonlight café for breakfast or some days we just cooked at the cottage. The cottage had everything you needed. The neighborhood was quiet and had a lot of great restaurants all in walking distance. Everyone was very friendly. Would definitely stay there again and Ryan & Michelle were wonderful."
