  • Sausalito Gem

"This Apartment exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, throughout our stay it just felt like Home. located within walking distance to the ferry, fantastic restaurants, shopping, and all the sights of Sausalito it would difficult not to have a great time. The Apartment itself was well appointed, with all the stuff you need to prepare meals or just enjoy some wine on the Deck. It is super clean and the Bathroom with an oversized twin showers was cool. This place originally owned by 'Sally Stanford' a former Madame in San Francisco, and Mayor of Sausalito. She must have been a charmer because this place is full of charm and warmth. In fact if you read a recent Book on San Francisco by David Talbot, there are a few great quotes from Sally.WE will be Back!"

  • Three Generations!

"Three generations of women, ages 20, 52, 55, 78 gasped when we walked into our destination "Villa"!!!! Truly glorious view of San Francisco, Alcatraz, The Bay. We were stunned. And it just got better. The Villa is beautifully situated... and we walked everywhere... up and down!!! and down and up!!! and even up to the Golden Gate Bridge (for the younger ones!) A note, take a windbreaker should you decide to do this... it is windy and cool. We enjoyed the "village" of Sausalito. We thoroughly enjoyed the BridgeCafe for breakfast (3x), Trident and Scoma (2x) for dinner. We took the Ferry to San Francisco and had an amazing view of "the Rock"... it really is!!! Another note... if you are interested in visiting, particularly in the Summer, make your reservations to "visit" Alcatraz as soon as possible. Solid booking during the Summer months. This is a grand place and the amenities are many. Enjoy! We certainly did. Thank you to the family for sharing your wonderful Villa. I recommend it without reservation."

  • Great Sausalito Vacation Place

"Stayed at Harrison House 6 days for a Tiberon wedding and so glad we did versus staying at the hotel. Booking and communication was great. Condo was 2 levels up from downtown Sausalito so you get a great view of the bay and very convenient to downtown Sausilito right by the ferry dock(bring your walking shoes and be prepared to climb the stairs). Condo is located on the second floor along with 3 other condos, so you have to climb some steps, very clean and comfortable for the 3 of us, first class amenities and the welcome basket from one of the local bakeries was delicious (we went and purchase more for the rest of our trip). Convenient drive to downtown San Francisco and places North. Very quiet neighborhood and nice outdoor area. Highly recommend this condo over a hotel. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to returning."

It's sometimes hard to find a vacation to please everyone in the family. One person wants a beach while others want a vibrant city with shopping, shows, and fine dining, while yet another desires a more quiet getaway with a small-town feel and plenty of hiking. No compromises have to be made when Sausalito, ifthe gorgeous San Francisco Bay Area is the destination selected.

Sausalito Combines San Francisco's Assets with Quiet Beauty

San Francisco is one of the most refined and colorful cities in the world. Whether you want world-class shows or some of the best dining, San Francisco is the place for you. San Francisco also happens to be only minutes away from the lovely, quiet town of Sausalito. Booking a vacation in Sausalito gives you the quiet and beauty of a secluded getaway in a friendly, artful town with all of the amenities that San Francisco offers, being so close. San Francisco has plenty of hotels, but they are impersonal and uncomfortable. By booking a vacation rental property in Sausalito, you can have a luxurious, comfortable home to rest and stretch out in, without having to endure cold room service. Booking rental Sausalito lodging is easy when using the websitewww.VRBO.com.

Fresh Air and Beautiful Vistas are Plentiful

Sausalito gives you the best views of the area. San Francisco Bay area travel is mostly done by foot, because walking and bicycle riding are the main modes of transportation—all the better to enjoy the views and exhilarating fresh sea air. It is home to a famous art festival and many unique art boutiques as well as fantastic restaurants. There really isn't a better vacation plan than booking a Sausalito vacation rental!
