  • Comfort and beauty

"My husband and I rented this wonderful property for a week during the renovation of our Sausalito home. It was everything the website pictures and description promised it would be - and more. It was clean, cozy and comfortable (the bed was amazing!). Everywhere we turned, it was beautifully appointed with careful attention to design details. And it had a REAL kitchen, with the tools we needed to prepare our meals. We especially loved having our dinner at the table by the bay window, looking out over the trees and the Bay. We happened to be there during the World Series and so appreciated the large TV (go Giants!). Best of all, this home provided us with the comfort and peace we needed as we faced the challenges of temporary living. Many thanks to the owner for sharing it. We are Sausalito residents, not tourists, but for tourists it would be hard to beat. It is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of Sausalito - lots of shops and restaurants - and the Golden Gate Ferry."

  • RELAXING RETREAT

"If you are looking for a place with easy access to San Francisco and surrounding areas, look no further. After an exhausting day in the city, this apartment and the little town of Sausalito are the perfect place to return to, to relax and unwind. The pictures and description of the studio are exactly as described, but one has to truly see it in person, to appreciate the beauty of the view from the balcony. Sleeping with the balcony doors wide open was a treat every night. I had a concern with sleeping on a foldout sofa bed, and I must say, my husband and I both slept like babies. This place is a hidden gem! LOOK NO FURTHER, you won't regret it!"

  • When Nathan said, "We look forward to sharing our home with you, he meant it!"

"There really are no words to describe the hospitality we felt other than, "As extended members of Nathan's family". He made sure no detail were left without perfect detail. I can honestly say, it pains me to leave this review for fear the home won't be available on our future trips! I did not want to leave, I can not wait to return....and feel Nathan will be someone we stay in contact with for life. If you are discriminating, prefer peace yet close proximity to the Bay Area, do not look any further. I will personally promise, you will not be disappointed (as we certainly were during our first days in another VRBO on busy Bridgeway in Sausalito). PS- please take care of my new HOME away from HOME!!! :-) I'll be back often!"

  • Cozy Secluded

"We arrived at the cottage and found it spotlessly clean. It was very private which appealed to us. The cottage was a great home base for our day trips to Napa Valley for wine tastings and to the Point Reyes area for cheese tastings and soaking up the beautiful coastal scenery. Though we didn't cook, the small kitchen was perfect for coffee and toasted muffins in the mornings. Also, the shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and seagulls off the private deck and made friends with a particularly friendly seagull we called Seadric (not Cedric). We would definitely return"
