"The cottage was perfect for the two of us for the week. Everything was nice, clean and welcoming. We left our car parked and used public transportation most of the time, i.e. ferry, bus, etc. There's even a bus to the Muir Redwoods. However, as stated. the walk up to the cottage from downtown Sausalito is steep. So keep that in mind. Loved using the patio & BBQ in the evenings when we didn't want to go back out. Though we didn't bring a pet, it seemed set up nicely for one."

"It is the second time that we spent our holidays staying in this little paradise. A peaceful place where you feel immediately at home. We love every corner of the houseboat and the relaxing atmosphere of its floating garden. A real gem in the harbor!"

"We arrived to find the most welcoming property manager, Lilian, we could imagine. She took us on a quick tour, showed us how things worked, and wished us a Merry Christmas. This home is spectacular. Everywhere you look the views are incredible from Tiburon to Angel Island to Oakland, Treasure Island, Alcatraz and the city. The bedrooms are comfortable, elegant, and nicely furnished. The double shower in the master bedroom particularly fun!
We cooked Christmas dinner in the kitchen and found everything we needed. I can't say enough about this great place to stay. If you have a chance to stay there, by all means don't let it slip by."

"This is a beautiful rental unit and a great location. A gorgeous kitchen, fully equipped for gourmet cooking should you choose to do so, with a great little market across the street where you can get anything you need. The roomy deck off the back has a nice view of the bay. The owner lives upstairs and maintains a beautiful back yard, including a wonderful herb garden which we were encouraged to use. The whole apartment is so spacious and luxurious; my husband and I were totally comfortable staying there. Just a short pleasant walk along the bay to Sausalito, where there are plenty of good restaurants, shops and things to do. There were a lot of bicyclists in the area too. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. There was a parking space for our car, very convenient. The parking space is across a busy street from the rental unit, so you have to be careful when crossing as cars and bicycles come along pretty fast.
Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, this is a wonderful place to relax. Keurig coffee in the morning, wine in the evenings on the back porch looking across the water, what a pleasure. The owner is very hospitable, knows the area well and was so helpful and friendly to us as we explored for the first time. We look forward to returning to this delightful spot."
