"My wife and I invited our son and his girlfriend to spend a weekend in Sausalito away from tour buses in San Francisco. We chose Harrison House because of photos and great reviews not knowing what to expect from the name Sexy Love Nest . We are all glad to have chosen the Harrison house. Home is tastefully renovated, clean, quiet, walking distance to town, comfortable bed, quality towels and everything was great as expected. We stayed north of Golden Gate entirely except going to a very late dinner in San Francisco one night (town goes quiet early). We went to a local market to buy locally grown fruits for breakfast, walked trails and the Golden Gate Bridge from Fort Baker, had lunch and dinner at waterfront restaurant in Sausalito and Tiburon, and totally chilled out in the evening at Harrison House. House is great if you spend most of your time north of the Golden Gate and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for letting us stay and enjoy our weekend in Sausalito !!"

"Great location for hitting all sorts of fun in the San Francisco area. Ferry to City close by, but we found plenty to do in Sausalito and surrounding areas. John Muir Woods close by. It is a nice walk down the hill, but wouldn't recommend to folks with bad knees on the way back. But, without the hill, no amazing view. Easy to drive up and down and plenty of parking below for those that prefer that method. Owners very helpful, courteous and kind. We had a nice first evening on the deck and used the fire pit. Plenty of wood under deck in driveway. Have to recommend "FISH" for lunch. It's a mile drive, near Molly Stones grocery, and on the water. VERY fresh fish. Also have to highly recommend "SUSHI RAN" just down the hill from the rental. This is probably one of the best sushi restaurants we have been to. Make reservations in advance, because they book up quick. I believe they are a Michelin rated 3 stars. All in all, this was a true find for us both. Would like to visit again."

"My sister and I stayed at the cottage for five days and can only say wonderful time. The cottage is small so if you need a lot of room or to be pampered this is not the place for you. If you would like quaint, walking distance to everything, and I mean everything, this is the perfect place. We parked the car and never used it again. Marion is a perfect hostess. Very friendly and helpful but did not intrude on our time. On our next sister time away, the cottage is our place."

When Nathan said, "We look forward to sharing our home with you, he meant it!"
"There really are no words to describe the hospitality we felt other than, "As extended members of Nathan's family". He made sure no detail were left without perfect detail. I can honestly say, it pains me to leave this review for fear the home won't be available on our future trips! I did not want to leave, I can not wait to return....and feel Nathan will be someone we stay in contact with for life. If you are discriminating, prefer peace yet close proximity to the Bay Area, do not look any further. I will personally promise, you will not be disappointed (as we certainly were during our first days in another VRBO on busy Bridgeway in Sausalito).
PS- please take care of my new HOME away from HOME!!! :-) I'll be back often!"
