"I've used Boutikia for a number of years and have always been impressed by both the service levels from them and the outstanding quality of the properties at affordable prices for SF.
The latest one I've just stayed in even surpassed the usual uber high standards!!

"This house is so beautiful and it has a million dollar view. The pictures can't capture the amazing view. The moment we opened the front door we knew we had booked the right vacation home for our multi generation family. The front to back foyer had a view of the back that you notice as soon as you walk in. The house was absolutely spotless, well maintained and well equipped. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me when I rent a house and this place was spotless. The house came equipped with just about everything we needed. The pool table was a nice addition that my husband and adult children used. My dad loved everything about the house. The kitchen was big and beautifully updated. We loved the design of the house with the bedrooms separated from the living space. The beds were comfortable. The only thing that I would change is to have a king bed that could be separated into 2 twin beds for adult children or friends that don't want to share a bed. There are 2 large grocery stores within 15 minutes of the house that we bought breakfast food and meats to cook on the barbecue. We loved having our breakfast at the house. We only ate out for lunch everyday and then returned to the house late in the afternoon to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We cooked simple dinners on the great grill every night because once we returned each day we didn't want to leave. The house is located in a residential neighborhood. It is the last house high on a hill at the end of a private way so you don't really see or hear the neighbors. Totally peaceful. It was also a perfect location for visiting wineries. Our favorites were Castello di Amoroso, V. Satuii, St Francis, and Baldacci. It's also not far from San Fransisco, Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. The airport is about 1hr 30 min away depending upon the traffic. Ron was very prompt in replying to any of my questions. I would love to return someday and will definitely recommend this home to friends and family."

"Great house, great location. Bedrooms are in the back of house so very quiet. We had a number of sunny days so the back garden was a huge asset. I was so excited about finding a property in the marina with parking and a garden that I must have looked over some details. The 3 bedrooms are right next to each other and one is only accessible through the other room. This worked fine for us as we were a family but if you need privacy, I would not recommend this house. Also I was very excited about having 4 bedrooms but didn't read the detail about it being downstairs through the garage. That's okay for a couple but I would not recommend it if you need another bedroom for children of if you need to be near to your children in the main house. The beds upstairs were great but the downstairs sofa bed must be replaced! It is impossible to sleep on! If you don't need to sleep downstairs it's a great room for someone to get away to for some quiet time. Even with the few surprises we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"We stayed 5 nights (not long enough) and had time to relax in the beautiful serenity of the pension, gardens, vineyards and dock. We don't want to repeat other reviews but all that was said in them is true. It was completely private, luxurious and comfortable. Private gate opens to tree-lined gravel road and that leads to an amazing home and cottage set within the vines. You could just easily be driving on a small road to a villa in Tuscany. The cottage portion of the property is beautiful, as is everything else on this property. Jim and Ann left a very nice bottle of wine and came to greet us with enjoyable conversation and suggestions. They also were spot on with their recommendations - our favorite winerey not on our radar but Jim's suggestion (Benovia). We did not see them again ever until checkout - by their design- but were readily available by cell phone and text. Property is very close to downtown Healdsburg and its wonderful restaurants (Madrona Manor was like nothing we've ever experienced - $$$$ but 14 courses and each dish was a work of art and flavor; Scopa, Dry Creek, Dry Creek General Store, Parish Cafe our other favorites), family-oriented fourth of july celebrations and the wine road their property is located on led to great wineries, vineyards and winding roads (took Sweetwater Creek road to Armstrong Redwoods- dont miss this white knuckle drive). Many afternoons with wine and cheese sitting on their shaded dock on the pond watching blue heron, turtles and ducks. They have bikes that you can use to easily to get to a half dozen amazing wineries a short ride away. Little quail family so cute. Petanque court fun. Also have a small boat and fishing poles. Highly recommend - we travel alot and this property made us a VRBO fan and would stay here again any time. If you a looking for a romantic stay for two people in Sonoma Wine country you can't do any better than staying at Pension in the Vines."
