  • Five Nights in Paradise

"We have stayed in many rental units and this one is now at the top of our list. The moment we stepped through the door, it just felt like home. The house is so comfortable and inviting. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. All the windows let you enjoy the spectacular views by day and twinkling lights across the bay at night. We loved the privacy of the fenced in yard and the fact that you are sitting up on a hill, so you can enjoy the view from the deck. We didn't get a chance to cook out and use the patio but it was also very welcoming. The town of Tiburon is so charming and we enjoyed meals there a couple of nights. It is just a quick drive or walk on the bike path. Jump in your car and you are hiking trails in Muir Woods in about 15 minutes. We hiked a couple of trails that led us to the Pacific Ocean. There is so much to do that we could have spent a month there but sadly we only had five nights. Thanks for sharing Bella Vista. Whenever I need to calm my mind, I will shut my eyes and pretend I am sitting on the deck, looking out at the bay and enjoying the cool gentle breeze."

  • Thanks, Mike!

"Like several other reviewers, we came to Tiburon for a family gathering. East Lansing (Okemos), Seattle and San Francisco family members spent a wonderful extended weekend in this outstanding home. We concur with all the positive comments of others who have rented the home. We took a day trip to Angel Island via the ferry in Tiburon. Anyone interested in immigration to the U. S. or the military history of the island may want to add Angel Island to their itinerary. We would only add that the deck was a very special pleasure. It is large, scenic and comfortably appointed. We put the grill and hot tub to use. Thanks so much for being an genuine host, Mike."

  • Beautiful views

"Great house—and as advertised. Beautiful views from the front rooms & from a large front porch; well laid out, spacious, light, lovely back yard with pool, several sitting rooms, well-stocked kitchen; and delicious homemade granola. FYI: the bedroom with twin beds is across the hall from a bathroom in the front of the house; the master suite has a bathroom; and the 3rd bathroom is off a hall with 2 other bedrooms at the back of the house (1 with 2 double beds & 1 with a double bed and a crib), creating 3 areas (hard to figure out from the house description). This layout will suit some groups better than others, but was just right for us. The owner website wasn't working, so we didn't get recommendations for what's nearby, but there's plenty to do: Tiburon has a charming town center with outdoor dining on the water, ferries to the city+, a nice grocery store, several miles of off-road paths for biking & walking; near Mt. Tam for hikes."

  • A Great Winter in a Great Place

"I and my little Shih Tzu spent January and February in this townhouse and it could not have been more perfect for us. The place is so charming with its cozy atmosphere which I found very comfortable. I have stayed in other rentals during the winter in Tiburon, all of which have been nice, but this was much quieter and warmer and had all of the amenities one could want, including covered parking onsite. It is so convenient to Woodlands Market (a block), the library (on the next corner), the waterfront and ferry to SF, restaurants, shops and salons (just a few blocks). I walked everywhere. The owner and her assistant were unbelievably accommodating and friendly and I enjoyed getting to know them. Since I live in Maryland, am retired, want to spend time with my daughter and family who live nearby the townhouse and like to escape the cold and snow, I hope to stay there next winter!"
