  • Very comfortable!

"My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter and her family. The apt. is clean, comfortable and perfect for everyone's needs. We were very lucky to be able to come home to this quiet location at the end of the day. Keith was helpful and considerate but never intruded. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Can't beat the view!

"I would give this house a 5 star rating except that it is a bit outdated, especially the kitchen. Cabinets need painting and they don't open and shut well. That said the house was very clean and contained most of our needs. We loved the bedroom, it was very romantic, as it opened up to the beautiful front gardens and to the hot tub. The front part of the house (living room, sunroom and kitchen), and, of course, the deck have a marvelous view. We loved sitting outside on the deck at sunset. We did have a little problem with launching our kayaks from this house. We had to lift them over the deck fence to get them to the ramp and launch them. As it turned out, we would have been better off to use the launch down the street and kayak to the house. The launch is within walking distance. The other problem with the kayaks was that we had to keep them on the ramp at night because had we just tied them up, and left them in the water they would have slammed against the pilings that the house is on. There's not enough beach to tie the kayaks onto a beach. This, of course, is no reflection on the house. I'm just mentioning it to prepare any other people who might want to bring their own kayaks. It's expensive, but it might be easier to just rent kayak down at Blue Water kayaking which is very close to the house. We did enjoy our stay very much."

  • A wonderful beach getaway!

"My husband, teenage daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed this historic, quirky, and completely charming home and the community of Bolinas (not fancy, but very, very comfortable). Everything you need for a classic beach house getaway is provided; the owner is responsive and friendly; and the location is less than a block from the surf and only a little farther to town (which is small but has a lot of unique character). Add the proximity to Point Reyes National Seashore and Stinson Beach, and we had plenty to do see and do. We would definitely go back!"

  • Great apt in SF

"We just came back from a five-day stay in this apartment - one of the best vacation rental experiences ever. First of all, the apartment is BEAUTIFUL. It's tastefully decorated, clean, had great towels and sheets, and had very comfortable beds. Well-stocked kitchen. The pictures on the website are pretty accurate. Second, it is actually very quiet - a pleasant surprise. Third, the location is great - Bi-Rite, Tartine, and Delfina are very close. Lastly, the landlord was very responsive. Very prompt with addressing our questions. By the way, for those of you thinking of having a car and worried about not having on-site parking - we had a car and parking was not an issue at all. We managed to park within a block from the apartment every night (and whenever we needed to during the day). Just make sure to keep track of the street cleaning days and it should be no problem. I cannot think of one thing that is wrong with this place. Thanks, Alan!"
