  • Absolutely Beautiful Home!

"We stayed in this lovely home over the Memorial day weekend, as we were visiting my son who was living in the Oakland area. I have rented homes through VRBO before, but this home was the most beautiful place we have rented yet! It had all the amenities, a wonderful back porch for sitting and talking. We had a really great stay and the owners were fantastic!! This was so much more comfortable than getting a hotel in San Francisco. It's a lovely home, in a lovely neighborhood, with top notch decor and furnishings. We have a great stay!!"

  • Sausalito retreat

"We chose this rental as the base for our San Francisco trip because we didn't want to stay in a generic hotel room, and this place didn't disappoint. It's in a great location if you want peace and quiet after a hectic day, and it's only 10 minutes' walk to the ferry that takes you to the city. The bed's comfy, the kitchen's well equipped (we especially appreciated the fresh coffee beans and grinder), there's a fantastic view from the deck, and overall it's a nice, cosy retreat. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The only thing we would have preferred is a bigger couch. We're full on couch potatoes and love a big old couch to curl up on at the end of the day. Other than that, this place is great and we'd definitely recommend it to other travellers. One more thing - be careful reversing out of the parking space. It's really steep and if you've got a low slung car (we rented a mustang), you run the risk of losing your rear bumper if you come out at the wrong angle or too fast. We managed ok, but it took some doing!"

  • Perfect spot

"This has to be the perfect spot. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were not only in a stunning space in a vibrant neighborhood but like we arrived at a home away from home. This was in part because we were welcomed so warmly by the owner of this gem. The studio is spacious and equipped with everything you need to feel like you are grounded in the most fascinating city on the planet, San Francisco. A delightful home base. I have lived in SF two different times in the past but never had the chance to live in the Mission. Our stay allowed me to fall in love with this ever eclectic neighborhood. Just walk out of the studio, make a right, make a left, stroll on Valencia, head to Dolores Park, ride a bike or hop public transportation and you are at your destination in no time. Again, the perfect spot. My girlfriend and I spent the month of August and our host could not have been a better. In the end, she became a friend. Anyone looking to spend a month in this city will find no better place than this."

  • A Wonderful Place to Stay

"I stay in this house frequently. It is in a very upscale neighborhood. It is near to Ross Elementary School the College of Marin, Marin Art and Garden Center, shopping and good restaurants. Ross is a destination for cyclists and hikers due to its proximity to Phoenix Lake and Mt. Tamalpais. Stinson Beach and Bolinas Bay are just over the hill. You can take the Larkspur or Sausalito ferry to San Francisco for a 35 minute scenic ride. Besides being conveniently located, the house is very clean, comfortable and charming."
