  • 30th Wedding Anniversary in PARADISE!

"We were lucky enough to call this cozy little cabin home for two whole weeks! If you're a fly fisherman or an avid reader...this is the place for you. If you enjoy nature and wildlife...this is the place for you. Want peace and quiet...Yep!...this is your place. Cabin is rustic, but mostly well fitted. Spacious deck for spending your days in the sun or shade and nights for star gazing. Perhaps due to the abundance of wildlife, we found ticks on our dog after running him in the tall grass at the waters edge, so please be aware."

  • A wonderful vacation paradise!

"We absolutely loved staying here at Vista Del Monte. We stayed all of July for 31 days and had such a relaxing time surrounded by beautiful flowers and big trees. We loved the pool, tennis court, big lawn area, and Joyce was a very sweet and accomodating host! I also loved the on site laundry, the quiet neighborhood, and the mini fridge by the pool was so handy! We will definitely be back."

  • Thanksgiving at Turning Creek in McCloud Ca

"We spent Thanksgiving at Turning Creek and had a wonderful time! The area is beautiful and offered many places to fly fish as well as beautiful mountain drives. The home at Turning Creek was "Stunning"! As we unlocked the front door and entered, we felt as if we had arrived at a warm, familiar family home. Tastefully furnished with all the comforts we could possibly need. The location of the house, set back into the woods and at the edge of the creek gives the additional feel of being further out into the forest surrounding you with deep relaxing peace and quiet. We look forward to returning again very soon."

  • Serene & Private Rustic Retreat

"I highly recommend this place if you're looking to do some "glamping." We didn't leave the yurt at all the entire weekend, except to hike around the property. Great peek a boo views of mount shasta. Also really enjoyed the deck and bbq!"
