"This was our third visit to the Lake Almanor house, and it was perfect, as always.
The house is spacious, and perfectly accommodated our large party. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is huge with plenty of room for all of the cooks in the family, and there is a large dining table with room for everyone. Most importantly, the house is spotless from top to bottom.
The house sits right on the shore of Lake Almanor, which is perfect for those who choose to visit in the summer months. It is also within easy driving distance of Lassen Volcanic National Park, which had ample snow for our kids to enjoy.
The day we arrived, a fairly large winter storm blew through the area and knocked the power out. Fortunately, the house has a backup generator, so we weren't inconvenienced in the slightest.
The owners are very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this house, and I am positive that my family will be back in the future!"

"This was our second time staying here. It is perfect for our family of 5. Our first say the kids were about 7 to 12 years in age and we took them ice skating and sledding. This trip they are 15 to 20 and couldn't stay off the slopes of Mt. Shasta. The house had everything we needed. Very clean, comfortable and down to earth. The washer and dryer was a plus, we could dry all our wet clothes. The neighborhood was quit and clean. It is a great location, just minutes away from Mt. Shasta for down hill and x-country skiing and sledding. The town of Mt. Shasta is 15 minutes away where they have an outdoor ice rink with an incredible view of Mt. Shasta. We have to come back in Summer and check out the river."
