"A beautiful, very clean, comfortable home. Nice beds, big open floor plan and great secluded feeling on the back deck. The home was close to town but far enough off of 89 to avoid any traffic noise. I highly recommend this home for a vacation rental and I'm very picky!"

"We stayed here for a week-long family vacation that wrapped up on Memorial Day. Our favorite features of this unique home were the separate studio, the large kitchen, and the open living space concept/design. The living/dining room area lends itself well to comfortable gathering, and we spent every night cozied up by the fireplace, talking and playing board games. For our stay, there were a few things that could have been improved upon, such as overall cleanliness and a broken toilet seat in the master bath. We are trying to work with the owner on these concerns and are currently awaiting his reply. These concerns are balanced by many positives, including a great location on the 6th tee, plenty of parking room, and one of the pet-friendliest places we've ever rented on VRBO. The heads up from other reviewers about the overall openness of design as it pertains to a relative lack of privacy is good to note (e.g. there is no bathroom door to separate the master bedroom from the bathroom....just a curtain) - not a problem, I suppose, as long as you are prepared and not overly modest. Would we return? Possibly....depends on whether or not we're able to settle things amicably with the owner. Hope so!"

"WE had a great stay here. Owners were super easy to deal with and kind and welcoming - and lots of nice touches. Including wine and cheese upon arrival. House is well stocked and maintained and clean - and more of an old-fashioned style than ultra modern but it suits the house. With three teenagers there was lots of room to spread out. The BEST part of the house was having breakfast on the deck, and dinner on the deck. The BBQ on the deck made meals easy. We went to Whiskey Lake and Lassen Volcanic park and even explored Redding. We weren't sure at all what to expect of the area and used it as a "stopping" point between Berkeley and Bend - but easily could have stayed longer."

Beautiful home on the golf course with a peak of the lake. Very cute and well equipt.
"Our family had such a great time at Lake Almanor. We enjoyed the cabin and loved being able to bring our dog with us. We spent a lot of time outside bbqing and relaxing on the deck. The entire property is covered with huge trees and stayed nice and cool even when it was hot out. We played golf, swam, and did the whole bike path with our family. The cabin was so cute and so well supplied with all that you need. We highly recommend it!!"
