  • Great Place to Stay with a Dachshund!

"We had a wonderful long weekend at this comfortable, clean and well-equipped home in Graeagle! We were able to go hiking in the beautiful Lakes Basin (after watching some World Cup) and come back and make dinner and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the cabin! Although if we wanted, we could have gone into the cute town of Graeagle for dinner as it is only a few minutes drive away. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very much as we expected based on the pictures seen here on the VRBO website. It is very spacious and well laid out; the garage is huge (with pool table!) and the fenced-in backyard was fabulous for our little doxie to run around in! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were also roomy with plenty of hot water. And I have to say that working with the owner was a real pleasure - she was very informative and responsive as well as super friendly. We definitely recommend this rental and would come back again on a future trip to Graeagle. And our dachshund really appreciated being able to come along!"

  • Great Family Vacation Spot

"This is a great cabin for a family vacation - very relaxing and low key. It is conveniently located across from the Rec center which hosts a bunch of different activities for kids and families: movie night, swim, pickle ball, and tennis lessons. Unfortunately, this year the water levels were not great for swimming. The property managers are wonderful and VERY helpful and responsive. Clean and comfy, but bare bones amenities so be prepared for a low tech experience:no dishwasher, only one bathroom on the ground floor (not easy for little ones during the night), WiFi intermittent, no telephone (cell service sketchy), and TV not positioned in a place for easy group viewing of movies. Although possible to do day trips/hikes to Lassen National Park, it is a good 1 hour away from the entrance of the park -- so its a long day of driving."

  • We never want to leave

"We just returned from another month long vacation in the Trinity Alps. Do you want a place to stay, a place to play and a place to fish and truly relax? Then you and yours should contact the Trinity River Adventure Inn. If you want hospitality and wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. Don't forget that this rental (Sows Ear) is dog friendly. Our eleven year old West Highland Terrier (Holly) loved standing up at a low window and watching deer eat the cracked corn we provided. We consider the hosts as family and marvel at their desire to insure you enjoy each day to its fullest."

  • Quiet please

"I needed a clean quiet environment to write and find peace, and I found it here. The cabin was clean and neat; very easy to locate household products commonly used. The decks were perfect locations to give me different serene views. No city noise, I truly capture great moments of peace in front of the fireplace, and it's warmth indescribable. The cabin had all the amenities I needed which was a surprise compared to other resorts i visited. Flat screens TV's in all the bed rooms with DVD players, my kids will love their rooms. Overall you can't go wrong staying at this cabin, alone or with family which will be my next adventure."
