"We stayed in this condo for a week during the summer. It has all the aminities of home, and a great boat dock. We were able to take our boat to a safe place, and caught many fish. The kids enjoyed the swimming dock also. Lots of fun for a great price. I'd recommand it of course!"

"We just returned home today after spending a week in this absolutely lovely home located in the Lake Almanor Country Club.
Since there were only 3 of us (we, the parents and our adult daughter), we were looking for something smaller. We rented this home because it fit our needs, including having a window air conditioner. Truth be told, my husband, who grew up going to Lake Alamanor, was extremely nervous that I chose this home. He thought it looked old and a little run down.
Once we arrived, all of his fears disappeared. This home is absolutely beautiful. It has vaulted ceilings and windows that face the trees and a decent, yet gorgeous view of the lake.
Everything, and I mean everything (except food) has been provided. Cooking utensils, a wide variety of pots and pans, plates, glasses, etc is on hand. Lots of towels, blankets, sheets and pillows are provided, too.
Beds, the sofas and easy chair are very comfortable.
We only used it for a couple of hours, but they now have a flat-screened t.v.
But, the best part was the cleanliness. This home was immaculate. No matter where I'm staying, I always travel with wipes so I can clean our lodging the moment we arrive. I didn't even pull out one wipe when we arrived and I did my inspections.
We also appreciated the well-placed instructions throughout the house. They were useful without being obtrusive.
We will DEFINITELY be coming back to the Plummers. It felt like our home away from home and no one wanted to leave."

"This is a great cabin for a family vacation - very relaxing and low key. It is conveniently located across from the Rec center which hosts a bunch of different activities for kids and families: movie night, swim, pickle ball, and tennis lessons. Unfortunately, this year the water levels were not great for swimming. The property managers are wonderful and VERY helpful and responsive. Clean and comfy, but bare bones amenities so be prepared for a low tech experience:no dishwasher, only one bathroom on the ground floor (not easy for little ones during the night), WiFi intermittent, no telephone (cell service sketchy), and TV not positioned in a place for easy group viewing of movies. Although possible to do day trips/hikes to Lassen National Park, it is a good 1 hour away from the entrance of the park -- so its a long day of driving."

"The house doesn't look that impressive from the outside but the inside is pretty nice. The layout of this house was perfect for 2 families. A master bedroom with King + small bedroom with queen was upstairs that is good for a family with kids. A small bedroom on the main level and a separate area on the bottom floor. Doors could be closed for the stairways if you have small children. It was super hot when we were there in july so we were a little unprepared for that. The upstairs was a bit uncomfortable but once we knew to keep the blinds closed and dark, it helped a lot. The bottom level remained cool and nice throughout though. The hot tub was perfect and everything was in order. Make sure to bring some games/dvds since we didn't realize there wouldn't be any cable/wifi (our mistake) and there is poor 3g service in the area. It is walkable to Rec 1 but a bit of a trek uphill to come back. The outdoor bbq was nice though."
