"We loved staying in this house. We were 1/2 hour from Lassen National Park and so could go there each day. The house was very comfortable for two couples, affording good privacy. We were happy to find a terrific supermarket across the street and so we cooked our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The water tastes so good and the shower pressure is better than what we have at home. I highly recommend renting this house."

"The house is located on a beautiful spot towards the end of the lake and we all spent countless hours on the deck large enough for 10/11 people to enjoy eating meals and hanging and enjoying the view. We didn't get the constant buzz from the boats and jet skis that's common on smaller lakes and really appreciated how quiet and private it seemed. We had our own ski boat and for the whole week felt that the lake was like our very own in August! The home was comfortable and clean but it is dated. It was a little cramped for 10 or 11 adults sleeping but Deanna, the owner, did warn us and we really do appreciate her accommodating us. I think if we had smaller children the sleeping arrangements would have worked a little better. Deanna was very responsive, informative and I personally liked her very much. Nearby Lassen National Park is a must see - amazing hikes!"

"Owners were overly cautious when they inquired if Michael Y. was my husband when they noticed I sent a booking notice with his name attached. They were already told we were coming for our 22nd Anniversary.
Also, Instruction Booklet in rental was odd when it said, Do not sleep on the top coverlet. I am assuming they were concerned about dirty shoes. I was taught to be respectful of all property.
I was a nicely kept home."

"This lovely little house has a perfect location, half a block from Rec 1. There are plenty of pros for this house: Immaculate cleanliness, very comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of supplied cleaning materials, spacious deck out front, lots of amenities like folding chairs to take to the concerts or use on the deck, and a good sense of privacy despite proximity to the recreation area. A few cons and caveats: While two of the three bedrooms are upstairs, the one bathroom is downstairs; the bedrooms are small (although functional); and every morning, starting at 07:15, you will listen to 45-60 minutes of leaf-blowers across the street at the Rec Center. Incidentally, the Dish TV reception is fine, just a bit limited (despite 999 channels...), and Verizon has good connectivity.
We enjoyed this house, and would stay here again. It was also a pleasure to work with Dianne and the rental agency, who were always cordial, responsive and helpful."
