"I loved this place. It's an older large home with everything one would need--fireplace with lots of split wood, a babbling creek behind the house (yes, even in this extreme drought!), peace & quiet. The only thing that was a bit challenging is having no cell phone service. I brought up my reuter & modem but couldn't get internet either but the satellite t.v. worked fine. I turned it on once for 5 minutes. Paradise....."Guest: Chris Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 31, 2014View listing
"Awesome place to stay in Quincy! I stayed here with some friends on 10/17'14 weekend and this house provides everything we need and more! It's 10 miles from Quincy town center, up near Bucks lake, so it's really private and quiet. It has patio overlooking grown pine trees, though we didn't spend much time there since we're busy sight-seeing around Quincy. The pantry is also well stocked with cups, plates and what-have-you. Some snacks/drinks are even thrown in for good measure. Raymond (the owner) is really generous and such a good host, he made sure we have every info we need (including places to visit, restaurants, etc) prior to we arrive at his house. Thanks Raymond! The house is very well kept and clean, the listing photos and descriptions are accurate! I would definitely recommend this house to all my friends and I'll definitely rent again if I'm back in Quincy."Guest: weekend warrior Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 20, 2014View listing
"There is so much to write but I will keep it short. Family of 4 with 10/13 year old boys. Parked car. 10 year old and I walk to railing. 10 year old says "Wow, thanks dad, I love you". It only got better from there. Did not even unpack, just walked the grounds and enjoyed for awhile. Tina and Russ were the ultimate hosts and we cannot thank them enough. Fishing, tubing, crawdads, peace, quiet, etc., etc.."Guest: Nick Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 22, 2014View listing
"Warning...this reviews contains lots of exclamation points because we LOVED it so much and it was so awesome to stay here!!! If you can believe it, this cabin is even cuter than in the photos! Ceci was wonderful! We all loved and appreciated her little touches that really made us feel at home! We also loved that we could bring our 2 active dogs with us! They were in heaven running all around! The trains on the trestle was a wonderful surprise, and I especially loved the whistle! It was so easy to hike around the property and enjoy the many wild flowers! Ya gotta stay here! What are you waiting for?"Guest: marciamarciamarcia Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing
