  • Amazing view

"We stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The view is AMAZING! The large deck was a perfect place to sit and relax. The lake is very low this year so walking to the lake wasn't an option with children. But the view cannot be beat!"

  • Great Family Cabin - a Luxury to have the pool!

"Our party of 8 had an amazing week at the Big Family Cabin. Even though the water levels were low there was still plenty of water to play in. Would have been a whole lot better if our boat would've agreed to run but apparently it was on vacation too. This gave us an opportunity to enjoy the pool. Mother Nature gave us an awesome thunder and lightening storm which made our stay even better. This home offers plenty of room for a larger group than what we had. We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table and the basketball hoop. One of the best treats was that the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioned home offered a great escape from the heat and made sleeping at night so restful. We have already placed our request for our stay for summer 2015 - can't wait!"

  • Weekend getaway

"We just spent a weekend at the Bear Hugger and had a wonderful time. The property is comfortable, charming and extremely well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals. We spent a lot of our time on the lovely outdoor deck, grilling dinner and enjoying the stars. The location can't be beat. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon boating on Lake Shasta. Our kids loved the house with all of its fun games and adorable bears, it's a perfect home for families. We will be back!!"

  • Great value, great location, great house!

"This home is well cared for and it's spacious, clean and comfortable. It's a five minute drive to the lake and marina, and 2 minutes from the local Lakehead eateries, market and gas. We rented it for a girls getaway and it was perfect! The kitchen was big so we could all be in and around there at the same time, and it was well stocked with everything and more than we needed. The big open living dining kitchen area was ideal. If you don't have a boat, get Sandy's phone number and rent her patio boat for the day and enjoy the lake! We spotted 2 juvenile bald eagles and their nests in a cove, and watched in amazement as they soared over the aqua blue water, and up against the clear blue sky. This was pure enjoyment, relaxation, comfort and style - Shasta style!"
