  • Family Weekend Getaway

"Home description was accurate, the owner was helpful in giving local store recommendations for wifi connection, instructions for the house, etc., no problems with the property, and would recommend (especially to outdoors lovers who do not have pets) for a low technology vacation."

  • Chuck Chuck Chuck Piuiiiiiiiii Piuiiiiiiii !!!!

"I wish I could give one more star, that one just for the railroad. This place is adorable !! It is a beautiful Cottage that was so carefully decorated with delicious with a great sense of taste. We felt comfortable we felt at home. The house is fully equipped and the heating is perfect. Nice Landscape and thanks for the Fire Pit where the kids had a memorable time doing S’mores. But, the additional charming is the railroad and its trains. The family walked together at the line and waited for their whistle to count how many wagons it was taking. The sound of iron wheels crossing the rail greeted the moon and rocked our sleep. I felt sorry for not be able to wake due the sound to see train passing again. Thanks the owners for sharing this precious place with us. Best, m"

  • Great Cabin in the Middle of the Mountains

"I stayed here for three nights with four other friends. We all felt like we received the "cabin experience" we were hoping for. There is a nice screened in porch, a large family room with two single beds and a wide couch that can easily be used as another single bed. There is one bathroom with a fully functioning shower and sink with hot water. In addition to the single beds in the family room, there is a double bed in a separate more private room as well. All sheets, blankets, pillows were provided. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove top, and oven. After the visit, our group decided that we had packed way too many things since almost everything was provided in this cabin. Out back, there was a patio with a fireplace and cooking grate. Wood was free of charge and easily accessible. All in all, a great cabin with everything needed for a fun stay. The location of the cabin was perfect as well. We had not planned any activities prior to arriving at the cabin, but we had no trouble finding things to do. The cabin is 5-10 minute drive from the Klamath and Salmon Rivers. Both rivers had multiple water access trails that made it easy to find a suitable place for steelehead trout fishing. We were happy to end up catching a few rainbow trout given that we were novice trout fisherman. We did not do too much hiking on pre-stablished trails, but there were definitely trails nearby the cabin. The most memorable moment of our stay was when Max and Nena came over for a night and brought delicious smoked salmon and popcorn. They shared their life stories and the history of the surrounding area. We all had a great time talking, drinking, and eating in the warmth of the cabin. All five of us in our group would highly recommend Max and Nena's cabin."

  • H a p p i n e s s ....

"This house works great for our 3 generation annual lake getaway vacay. The kids all love being in the "dorm room" together. Horseshoe tourneys are big along with the fab wake boarding, kneeboarding and tubing! Can't forget the twice daily fishing treks and the yummy BBQ'd trout !!!! The year can't pass quickly enough. 👍"
