"We just returned from another month long vacation in the Trinity Alps. Do you want a place to stay, a place to play and a place to fish and truly relax? Then you and yours should contact the Trinity River Adventure Inn. If you want hospitality and wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. Don't forget that this rental (Sows Ear) is dog friendly. Our eleven year old West Highland Terrier (Holly) loved standing up at a low window and watching deer eat the cracked corn we provided. We consider the hosts as family and marvel at their desire to insure you enjoy each day to its fullest."

"This was a great cabin for our family to enjoy a restful and relaxing week on the river. Although there are neighbors, the cabin is situated in a way that makes you feel completely isolated. Most nights we felt like we were all alone in the world. The Trinity River is very close - so close you can hear it very clearly. My kids went fishing almost every day.
The owners have done a great job outfitting the cabin with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the towels think and fluffy. The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you would have at home. The only drawback was the lack of a dishwasher, but that did make for amusing moments when my kids realized they have have to "hand wash" the dishes!
We loved this cabin so much that we extended our stay another night! We look forward to visiting the Trinity River and this cabin again as soon as we can!
(Side note: If you are looking for some nature without roughing it, then this is the place! We saw deer, frogs, and many types of birds. We even saw a juvenile bald eagle! My daughter and I spent a lovely afternoon sitting on the deck, watching the deer graze not 30 feet from the cabin.)"

"Let me just say if you are looking for the Hilton Hotel, don't stay here. BUT if you want to stay in a cozy, romantic cabin on the beautiful river in Trinity, this is your place! The cabin is set in a quiet setting and the surrounding neighbors are nice and quiet as well. The house sits smack dab on the river so you can grab a cup coffee or a glass of wine and just relax on the big deck out back. You can watch the birds, fish to your hearts content and visit with the deer that come to visit. I love to cook and there was plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc to make a nice meal. This place would be fun for a couple with kids too, their own bedroom with bunkbeds and plenty of movies and the great outdoors to explore and just have fun. The place is in close proximity to lots of fishing holes, a really great fly fishing store and the owner was super nice, a winery, the small town of Lewiston and the really cute town of Weaverville. Weaverville has restaurants and quaint stores. The grocery store in Weaverville has everything! Or close by is the Jug and Tug to grab something you may have forgotten. The bed was comfortable and nice to have a fire. Henrik was very accommodating and the place is at a reasonable cost, especially with a million dollar view!"
