  • Weekend in Wine Country

"We booked Belle Torre the weekend prior to a trip to San Fran so my husband and I could enjoy wine country in the fall. We had our first visit to the winery in the Spring and knew we already loved the wine and found Gerry and Diane to be such great hosts for a wine tasting that staying on the property was a "sure thing" for an excellent experience this visit. The accomodations were very comfortable and a great launching point for our ventures each day. In addition we enjoyed another visit with Gerry and Diane in the wine cave learning more about their wonderful wine."

  • Healdsburg weekend crew

"Me and some of my girlfriends stayed here over the weekend and had a lovely time! The house is right across from a golf course in a very nice area. We loved this house. The pool and spa were wonderful. We had a great time and are looking forward to staying here next year on our annual girls weekend!"

  • Lovely Little House

"A friend and I stayed in this lovely 2-bedroom cottage for 4 nights and were thoroughly pleased. The house was very well maintained and well thought out, with everything one would need in the kitchen and bathroom. The house is ideally situated and is right around the corner from Barn Diva - within walking distance to restaurants, shops, spas, and all that downtown Healdsburg has to offer. I loved doing my morning & afternoon meditations in the garden, listening to the birds and smelling the sweet fragrance of the flowers and trees all around. I found it very peaceful and rejuvenating staying here. Loved the huge gas range and wonderfully large fridge. Our only snag was trying to figure out the "smart" TV. It was actually comical as we're 2 intelligent people and neither one of us could master the thing! So I gave up and activated my HBO Go account to the TV so we could at least watch a few movies of an evening - enjoy it with my compliments for as long as the activation lasts. Tracey was very easy to work with and props to her for keeping such a lovely, clean home. I am sure I will be back!"

  • Napa Birthday trip

"4 of us stayed at the house and had an amazing time! What a beautiful place!! I cannot say enough about the house and our stay. The house is nestled up on a mountain on 22 acres of a vineyard. There is ample socializing space including on outer deck by the pool and even a picnic table down by one of the lakes. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking a great meal. We even enjoyed playing on the ping pong table. We were also very lucky to have the owners give us a personal tour of the house and their vineyard while we were drinking their fabulous wine. I would definitely recommend this house!!"

Wine Country Travel Tips

California Wine Country Travel Gives You Access to World-class Wines

Beyond the beaches, if there is one thing for which the state of California is known, it is its wine country. Producing some of the finest wines in the world, the Napa and Sonoma regions of California are often at the top of wine enthusiasts' lists when it comes to California wine country travel. If you are looking for a vacation idea that is unique and different and may also help you learn just a bit more about this interesting industry, then come on over to California. The vineyards are welcoming, the wines are exceptional and the wine country vacation rentals and wine country lodging are simply luxurious.

A Bouquet of Options with California Wine Country Travel

California wine country is well-accustomed to visitors who want to sample their award-winning wines and tour the vineyards. As a result, you will find a host of wine country lodging options to suit your needs. Whether you need space for just one or two people or you are traveling with a larger group, the wine country vacation rentals in the area will meet your needs. After settling into your vacation home, it will be time to do some exploring. The vineyards in wine country range from small family-owned affairs to much larger vineyards. All of them have one thing in common and it is the hospitality they display to visitors. Most are happy to provide tours, offer samples, give lectures about the characteristics of their wines, and offer shops where you can purchase their products to take home.

Wine Country Vacation Rentals Are Your Connection to Fine Wines

When planning California wine country travel, keep in mind that it is a good idea to check with the local vineyards before you leave your wine country lodging. While most vineyards are all too happy to welcome guests, some vineyards have specific times at which they give tours and are not open to the public during other hours.

Experience It All with Wine Country Lodging

While your main interest may lie in touring the wineries and vineyards during your California wine country travel, keep in mind that there are many other sights to explore in the area as well, including fine shopping and dining opportunities not far from wine country vacation rentals.
