  • Aged to perfection!

"I selected this place to celebrate my 65th birthday since I never stayed at a bed and breakfast .So this was new and Nick waving at me had spotted my classic VW accross the street, hauled my suitcase up the stairs and I was offered wine (he and wife Gilean make it themselvs) .Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and after a morning run ( road next to the inn leads into the forest) I was seated at the lovely set breakfast table where I met the other guests, two very nice couples whom I had a lot of fun exchaning information with and quite a few laughs and we all got to experience Gileans quiches (ah that corn relish), scones (best once .I ever had) and all the other delights amongst them savory pears not to mention Gileans homemade granola (which you can also buy). The hosts attended to every detail without beeing overbearing, Nick even gave me a hand with my computer . This was a great experience and I had a wonderful time in the wine country attempting to "age to perfection" but I am still working on that part for now.. , ever had"

  • A wonderful experience!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property includes a huge field to explore, as well as a small hillside and a winery. It was an amazing experience to see a winery up close. There were a number of birds visiting the area around the house, including several hummingbirds! The owners have stocked the house well with functioning kitchen gadgets and utensils, and they even provide slippers for guests, which was a nice touch. The third bedroom has a separate exit to provide some privacy and also has another television and a microwave. The house is nicely decorated and there are several small seating areas inside and out, giving a cozy feel and allowing us to relax. The property itself is fairly close to the town of Calistoga, just a few minutes by car, yet has a rural feel. We would highly recommend it!"

  • Perfect Relaxation

"We loved our stay at SummitVine. The property is up a winding road in Calistoga. It has the feeling of Tuscany, with no neighbors in sight. The rolling hills and trees make this spot quite tranquil. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds with fresh linens and ceiling fans. The bathroom is bright and clean with great water pressure. Our favorite places in St. Helena are close by. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and played with the owner's friendly black Lab. This property has everything you need to relax. The owners are fantastic! They're nearby but not intrusive. They have made this a work of art- from the architecture, to the gardens, to the views! My daughter and I enjoyed our time relaxing here. One of the best properties in Napa!"

  • A great 'stay-cation' through the holidays and beyond!

"We are a family of three who needed an interim place to stay in Napa Valley while relocating to a new home, and this place rocked! We brought our christmas tree, spent New years there, and loved the views and small-town feel of Calistoga. Whether a family, or 2 couples, even with kids, this condo has enough room to spread out and be comfortable for the short term. We appreciated the owners timely responses and their willingness to work with us as our departure date kept being pushed back. We would definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to those visiting from afar!"
