  • Summer in Wine Country

"Our group of friends has been traveling together for 5 years. This is the first time we have rented a house so we could all stay together and it was great. The location of the property was great for morning walks to town for coffee or evening walks to dinner. Sitting on the front porch each evening with a glass of wine as a group was very special. The staff gave us good information for wineries and local places to eat. We loved the "BLT's" at Cook. The house was beautiful and very relaxing (loved the tubs)! Four couples enjoying a week of summer in country. Nothing Better! The Ramirez Group"

  • Perfect Home for wedding weekend.

"It was a wonderful week in St Helena for my daughter's wedding and it all started with this perfect home base. From the moment we signed on, to the moment we walked in, to check out, the owner made sure we were taken care of. It's often difficult to capture in photos the detail and care owners put into their home but this property was incredibly comfortable and the backyard served as our perfect wine country get away. The location was absolutely ideal for all our festivities. We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent there and can't wait to get back. I highly recommend this home for your next stay in the St Helena area."

  • Beautiful, Comfortable Home, Steps Away from EVERYTHING; Warm, Incredibly Helpful and Kind Owners.

"My husband and two children (7 and 8 years) rented this beautiful house with close family friends (children 4 and 5) for a Sonoma wedding during Labor Day weekend. Everything else was booked, or wouldn't allow CHILDREN (they're house trained, for Pete's sake), but we ended up being overjoyed to have landed in our beautiful St. Helena house! The bedrooms are large, with walk-in closets. Plenty of space for two families, including all our wedding gear and kids' swim stuff. Each bedroom has a bathroom ( only one tub, but that was fine because our children are older) - so convenient! The kitchen is VERY well-appointed. There were serving bowls and platters. Pots and pans and serve ware and flatware and a very good sized pantry. There is a laundry room, which would have been amazing if we had stayed longer than 3 nights! The children and the adults also enjoyed an enormous backyard patio, featuring a regal 350 year-old California Oak, and a charming front porch swing that saw a lot of miles that weekend, to the glee of the children. I also feel it's necessary to comment on the warmth and friendliness of the homeowners. The proprietress greeted me when my children and I arrived early on Friday, helped us bring in our many, many groceries, and gave us the tour of the house. She was immediately friendly to me, and lovely and sweet with my children. I felt an immediate connection with her. Afterwards, if I had a question and texted her, she replied immediately, which I found both courteous and professional. Our stay happened to be during the 6.0 earthquake that struck the area at 3:20 am Sunday morning. Both owners (husband and wife) went out of their way to come over with lanterns in their PJs in the middle of the night (the power was off), just to check that we all were ok and the house was intact. Thankfully, other than the power and a few other minor things we all we're well, but their concern was very appreciated. I think the weekend by far surpassed our expectations. I'd love to go back and stay again. It was as comfortable as home, but felt like a vacation considering the comfort and beauty of the house, and the fact that we could walk to St. Helena in minutes for all the beautiful shops and restaurants, the park and downtown. It was absolutely lovely. I'd recommend this home to anyone who wanted to have a relaxing stay in St. Helena with all the comforts of home, and being just steps from wine country."

  • The perfect secluded romantic getaway

"This is the perfect romantic getaway, less than a mile from downtown St. Helena, but worlds away from the crowds. It is secluded, quiet, private, and very scenic. The cottage separate from the main house includes everything you might need, and you will feel like you have your own house. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor patio area surrounded by lush vegetation. Don't feel like visiting downtown? Head the other direction, up the hill, and take in Pride Mountain Vineyard and other varied wineries up Spring MountainRoad. Faith was great in providing lots of recommendations both before and after our arrival, and she will take great care of you!"
