  • Perfect Home for wedding weekend.

"It was a wonderful week in St Helena for my daughter's wedding and it all started with this perfect home base. From the moment we signed on, to the moment we walked in, to check out, the owner made sure we were taken care of. It's often difficult to capture in photos the detail and care owners put into their home but this property was incredibly comfortable and the backyard served as our perfect wine country get away. The location was absolutely ideal for all our festivities. We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent there and can't wait to get back. I highly recommend this home for your next stay in the St Helena area."

  • Marvelous Stay!

"My wife and I stayed in this lovely and tastefully furnished bungalow for a month, and loved every minute of it -- we were sorry we had to leave! It's spacious and wonderfully secluded, situated amid trees and mountain vineyards only a 15-minute drive from St. Helena. The kitchen, with Viking gas range, is completely equipped with china, cooking utensils, and appliances. There's a terrific tiled walk-in shower and a jacuzzi (which we didn't try). The king-size bed is so comfortable that my wife and I feel asleep when our heads hit the pillow! An unusual bonus is a large set of bookcases with novels, biographies, and tourist information -- I spent a lot of time browsing through the collection. The owners, Tim and Missy, could not possibly have been nicer and more hospitable; they live about 100 yards away in their own beautiful home, and were at pains to ensure that there was nothing we needed during our stay. We recommend this cottage unequivocally to those looking for peace, quiet, and comfort in the Napa Valley near charming St. Helena -- and its excellent restaurants! This was a first-time VRBO experience for us, and I know we'll find it difficult to top."

  • location, location

"A nice old Victorian which has clearly been upgraded. Nice quiet street - not a through street which keeps it pretty quiet. We were greeted by a nice bouquet of flowers and bottle of Napa Valley wine on our arrival. There are stairs to go up and down both inside and out, so if you have any disabilities be aware. The location is great. We never used our car to go out to eat in St. Helena. Walked everywhere. And there are lots of very fine restaurants in town. The upstairs is a nice sitting area with fireplace, and the kitchen off to the side. Also, one bedroom with a queen is upstairs along with a bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and the ice machine works! (some places it doesn't) Also, the wireless system works flawlessly and the user ID and password are displayed for you to use. The bottom floor is a very nice master suite. One room has a nice sofa, coffee table and TV. As you go further, there is a bathroom with tub and shower and the bedroom. One thing that needs attention is the rope rug. About 2-3 inches of the subflooring is exposed between the rug and tiles. Should be covered up. The bedroom holds a queen bed that is very comfortable. French doors exit to a patio and picnic table. I should mention that we survived the big earthquake with no issues so the house has to be built pretty well! This is a comfortable house, centrally located to enjoy the wine country and good food. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and enjoyed it immensely."

  • The perfect secluded romantic getaway

"This is the perfect romantic getaway, less than a mile from downtown St. Helena, but worlds away from the crowds. It is secluded, quiet, private, and very scenic. The cottage separate from the main house includes everything you might need, and you will feel like you have your own house. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor patio area surrounded by lush vegetation. Don't feel like visiting downtown? Head the other direction, up the hill, and take in Pride Mountain Vineyard and other varied wineries up Spring MountainRoad. Faith was great in providing lots of recommendations both before and after our arrival, and she will take great care of you!"
