  • The perfect place for a large group

"We just spent a wonderful 3 days at this beautiful location. This is the first VRBO we've visited that truly represented itself accurately. This amazing compound will not only comfortably sleep all the people as represented, but will comfortably sit and has the kitchen supplies and facilities to cook for and feed a large group. It's conveniently located centrally in the wine country and surrounded by well-known wineries. We heartily recommend this multi-building home for your next large group getaway to Sonoma County."

  • Perfect place !!!

"I absolutely loved staying at the Farmhouse!! I rented the house for me plus the cottage for my son's family with 4 month old twins. Sonoma IS the place you want to be!! Rent it to be based for winery visits in the area or to just enjoy and relax.. We did a few day trips in the area and also to Napa, Healdsburg, etc but were all so glad we were based in Sonoma. The property is great - homey, comfortable, the lawn and small vineyards were gorgeous - we enjoyed the evenings there with the lovely lawn and used the BBQ for a perfectly nice evening. The property is exactly as it's shown on this website. We were just three blocks from the square with all the small shops and great restaurants - a block from Whole Foods - it all worked just perfectly. Bob, the agent, was easy to work with and accommodating. I cannot recommend this property high enough. Totally worth the cost !! I plan to return again SOON !!!"

  • Brambleberry Felt Like Home the Minute We Pulled in the Driveway

"From the minute we pulled into Brambleberry we felt like we were "home". It is obvious that the owners of Brambleberry think of it as a home first, and a rental second as it is designed with relaxation and comfort in mind. For those that are unfamiliar with Sonoma & Napa a great deal of information is provided regarding the area. The owner was also very helpful and kept us informed as to what was "happening" in the area before we even arrived. The house was well equipped with very nice towels, bedding, kitchen equipment... We cooked at home (which we never do on vacation) because we loved the home so much we did not want to leave... even for the fabulous restaurants in the area. There were six of us (three couples) and everyone loved the property. If I had to come up with a negative it would be that there are three bedrooms upstairs and only 2 baths (there are also two 1/2 baths on the first floor). Luckily this was not a big issue for us. Don't let this stop you from staying at Brambleberry. The grounds are beautiful. We were out visiting vineyards during the day so we did not use the gorgeous pool or hot tub because by evening the air was chilly. The men used the bocci court every night and loved it so much that we are now putting a bocci court at our home. While the men played bocci my girlfriends and I could not get ourselves motivated to move from the wicker furniture (might have been the wine too) on the beautiful wrap-around covered porch. It was our favorite part of each day... relaxing on that porch. The owner of Brambleberry suggested that we would enjoy a visit at the MacLeod Family Vineyard that runs next to the property and she was so very correct. We have all visited more vineyards then we can count and this was our all-time favorite visit! George (he is over 90) and Marjorie (his daughter-in-law) are so warm and funny and entertained us and also taught us a great deal while we sampled their fabulous wines. About 2 minutes after we got to the vineyard I was ready to join the family and start harvesting grapes. George has a great story to tell about starting the vineyard and Marjorie filled us in on the daily workings. Don't miss that visit!!! Next time we go back to Sonoma I will absolutely try to rent Brambleberry again... Next time I just won't book so many outside activities so I can spend more time at Brambleberry... relaxing! A perfect location... home... property owners... vacation!!! Our best wine country stay ever!"
