  • Perfect place to experience Sonoma

"First off, Moona is an excellent hostess & decorater. Unlike may rentals you find, this home is filled with lovely furnishings. Second, the home is in an amazing location, right off the main square. Our family had a wonderful time and couldn't have been more comfortable."

  • Perfection in Sonoma County

"My wife and I stayed in this mountain-view apartment for 8 nights in mid August. Everything in the apartment was perfectly maintained and clean. Myrna was very accommodating and had everything we needed to ensure a comfortable stay. Succinctly put, I HIGHLY recommend this apartment for any couple looking stay in Sonoma county. Thank you, Myrna!"

  • Large Comfortable Cottage

"This is a lovely property, a very spacious cottage with comfortable bed and large overstuffed chairs. There was a nice selection of snacks and bottle of wine when we arrived. The grounds are nicely maintained, and it has a nice wine country rural feel to it. There were some funny looking goats on the property next door! The drive into the Sonoma square is about 15-20 minutes where there are great restaurants, and plenty of wine tasting nearby. The pool was originally built to be connected to the main house, not the rental cottage, and despite privacy curtains, we couldn't help feel that we were in someone else's backyard when we were at the pool (because, of course, we were). We never were able to get the Internet access working, though we didn't spend a lot of time with the owner troubleshooting."

  • Loved it.

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The place is dripping in history, (creamery in 1890s, prospective bootlegging location in 20s!) Mary Jane and her son in law met us to give us advice and ideas. The place is really right on the water and you have a continuous "show" of fishing boats, birds (Ack! We watched Hitchcock's "The Birds" and tried to scare ourselves), seals, etc., right out the window. We managed to launch kayaks right off the side deck (you have to time the tides,) drove the coast (amazing free beaches great for photography), ate at the harbor, went into Bodega, watched crabbers on Doran beach, etc. It was fun to be there during crab season to see all the activity. The 2 bedroom is plenty roomy enough for my husband and me and our two teenaged daughters. The age of the building gives this a quaint feel with wide stairwell and odd angles to the ceilings. Nice beds, plenty of towels, etc. I would warn anyone staying anywhere in Bodega Bay...you do not have a "real" grocery store nearby, so getting what you want is higher in price and you may not get the "brand" you love. But it would totally destroy the visit if there was a Raleys or Bel Air! I rate this place a 5. It is not the Ritz, but I don't want to stay at the Ritz. I want to stay in a place where I can relax and enjoy."
