  • Fantastic Getaway!!

"I had the pleasure of staying at the Oak Leaf Retreat to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was exactly that...Fantastic! The house had everything we wanted; seclusion, spaciousness and a gourmet kitchen to create exquisite nibbles. Andrew even coordinated getting us his Weber BBQ, (aside from the one that was already there) and stocked us with charcoal as my husband is particular about his BBQing techniques. Aside from the kitchen, the wrap around porch was the place to be offering such beautiful scenery from morning until evening and our 12 year old lab LOVED this property as she could wander the grounds. Andrew and Kae have not missed a beat in this house! We struggled leaving on Sunday but plan for another return in the future. Many thanks for creating such a relaxing and inviting house to enjoy!"

  • Perfect for what we needed!

"Came to race Vineman and Osprey's Rest is located right between the race start and finish! The private beach for the community was fun and had easy access to the river. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils as making our own meals was important. The washer and dryer was great too! Bruce is a very kind man and we enjoyed our stay. (First drive up the private road was an adventure but easily became comfortable.)"

  • Excellent base for touring; equally accomodating for chilling at the cabin.

"Great location; quiet yet close enough to downtown Healdsburg for dining and shopping. Photos are representative of the cabin. Terrific outdoor spaces (both covered and open) expand the living areas when weather cooperates (as it did for our mid-February stay.) Extremely well-equipped kitchen. Sue was prompt, responsive, helpful and courteous at every turn. Easy to give highest rating."

  • AHHHHH --- PERFECTION!

"Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful hide-a-way! The moment we entered the gate at the top of the property and made our way down the steps into the secluded and romantic grounds we were hooked! Before we even entered the cottage, we said to each other "we are coming back here again for sure". The multiple outdoor living spaces were so great. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace with a bottle of wine, some snacks and the USC football game on the laptop! The hot-tub was heaven and the back patio inviting and peaceful. We loved all of the "Mexican Yard Art" that was scattered around the property so much that we sleuthed around the area and found the vendor -- we now have the baby brother of your large peacock in our backyard! Such attention to details - all the little touches that made this home so comfortable were much appreciated. Thank you for the electric blanket in the bedroom! The kitchen is well appointed and the unique space delightfully decorated! It was a great way to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and our transition to an officially "empty nest" as our youngest child went off to college in September. Definitely not for small children as there are many levels and small steps up and down into rooms --- but not a problem for us. Would love to see the "before" and "after" pictures -- the renovation of this property is remarkable -- so charming!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We have recommended this property to friends and we will definately be back."
