"This is the place to go, particularly with small kids. Hours of enjoyment in huge, private fenced backyard with separate pool area and kids' play structure. Beds were very comfortable and outdoor furniture was especially so. Great kitchen set up with every possible tool and pan at your disposal. Adults not forgotten with putting green, hot tub and ping pong table, not to mention separate wine fridge, at the ready. 3 bathrooms allowed for each family having their own space. Only slight downside is that the 2 queen size bedrooms are linked by a pocket door. This space made sense for a couple with a small child, but that left the other couple sharing the bunk bed room with their 2 kids. Worked fine for everyone, but this set-up might not suit people without small kids. Having said that, met our needs beautifully and we would highly recommend this home. We happily spent 3 nights there, only leaving to get more groceries. Very private and safe property, and also close (10 minute) drive to historic downtown Sonoma."

"In our case that's rare. We had four generations at Dovetail Farm in Glen Ellen. It's a beautiful location and while it does not have a vineyard view there is an intimate privacy that is hard to explain, maybe the gardens give it a more private aspect and that are so many spaces to settle into. There was a beautiful kitchen fully equipped for my wife and daughters to cook Easter dinner in. The golf courses were close by for the son-in-laws and myself. And the girls did a bit of wine tasting on Saturday and had a massage at a place called Magical massage in Glen Ellen– a unique spa experience that was in a gigantic wine barrel. The grounds are lovely and we ate most our meals outside. However the inside dining table saved the day on Sunday when it rained. Our group originally totaled 8 but since we are from the bay area we invited two other couples to join us for Easter dinner. Lovely, lovely house with a great open floor plan, separate bedrooms and so beautifully furnished. A perfect place for a family with so may generations coming together. We will definitely do this again. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your house. It really felt like home."

"Imagine that you're sitting with your husband at a lovely small table overlooking a beautiful garden, and there are 7 different species of birds at a bird feeder about 5 feet outside your window. You can also see a beautiful gazebo not far away, surrounded by flowers.
Then for your breakfast, Mary first brings in coffee plus a beautiful crystal goblet filled with fresh berries and topped with cream. The goblet sets upon a floral china plate and to the side is a freshly ironed linen napkin. She leaves you to enjoy it and returns in a little while with heated plates of eggs and sausage, or perhaps an omelette, or cinnamon French toast, whatever gourmet delight you choose to have that day. The setting is beautiful, the food divine. Had we come in the winter, we would have had a fire in the fireplace.
Mary and John offer wonderful advice on the areas vineyards, restaurants, and other attractions. We particularly enjoyed the Jack London State Park and took a wonderful hike through the woods with a park volunteer who told us all about the park and museum."

"We stayed at the Beautiful Sonoma Creek Cottage this past weekend to attend a wedding close by. We were very happy to see the pictures were accurate, it looks even more Beautiful in person. It was so relaxing and very private! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Glen Ellen Inn. The wifi worked great, however, we couldn't get cell service in the house. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends and family!
Thank you Breana at Sonoma Valley Escapes!"
