  • Tree House Getaway

"Luxury in a secluded country get away in the heart of wine country. We live in the bay area so we travel often to the wine country. I love this house! Quiet, but close to the things we love, Sonoma square, wine tasting (within minutes of wonderful wineries). The house is wonderfully laid out. Bathroom and bedroom downstairs, upstairs another bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen and living room. The photos don't do it justice. Thank you Chris for a wonderful stay!"

  • Amazing views with modern luxury

"The views you get from the patio is truly amazing. I could not wait to get out there first thing in the morning to see the fog and clouds over the valley (yes, we were above the clouds), and wait for the gorgeous sunrise. Of course the sunset was equally gorgeous, and we could not stop taking pictures. The house was a true retreat, and perfect for our family to take it slow and relax while visiting a couple wineries a day. Glen Ellen is 10 - 15 min drive from the house and has a great market (with produce and ready made food) and really cute restaurants with a local feel. Kitchen is fully stocked with top grade appliances and tools, and weber grill, so cooking and eating in was a pleasure as well. It is about a 10 min drive up the hill to get to the house, but the roads are absolutely safe (we've driven in much worse in europe), and there's rarely any other cars on the road at the same time. Was not a big deal driving back to the house at night after dinner once you've done the drive in the daylight. You don't get views and privacy like this without that much of a drive up the hill. The house is furnished beautifully and super clean and not cluttered, which is what I always look for in a vacation property as well. My favorite part was the modern, clean bathrooms and the humongous walk in closet! And John was very nice and pleasant and made the process very easy, with clear instructions and guide to the area. Highly recommend this house for exploring sonoma and napa area."

  • Gorgeous, spacious, quiet, and great pool!

"The Gatehouse is a lovely place to call home while visiting in Glen Ellen/Sonoma County. Walking distance to downtown Glen Ellen, yet far away from the main road so you have peace and quiet. Very comfortable beds, the master bathroom is modern and spacious. If you're a foodie, the kitchen is for you - very large and accommodating for making a fantastic meal. The pool and spa in the backyard are incredible, including the stunning views of Jack London State Park. This house has everything you and your guests need to have a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay in this house again and highly recommend you consider this rental. Barry was very professional, communicative, and walked me through questions so we felt right at home for the weekend. Thank you, we had a wonderful time!"

  • A dream come true!!!

"My family of 4 stayed at Sonoma Creek Cottage over Mother's Day weekend! I could not have asked for a more perfect property and home! The home is equipped with everything you need! The pool is lovely! The hot tub and outdoor shower are amazing! The deck overlooking the creek was magical! Just beyond the wild flowers you can see the creek and hear its lovely babbling. My 4 and 8 year olds loved taking the staircase down to the creek with my husband to take a closer look and try their hand at skipping rocks. I loved sitting under the shade of the umbrella with a cocktail watching them laugh. This property is a super convenient 5 minutes to either Glen Ellen or Kenwood! This property felt super secluded and yet is so close to a fabulous market, tasting rooms, restaurants, and wineries. We were all so sad to leave and hope to stay again as soon as humanly possible!!!"
