  • Amazing house and property

"I have stayed at this house twice now and every time is an amazing experience. The wineries are not too far and once back there is a lake, pool and spa jump in. The property all around is well taken care is definitely the best property I have ever stayed at. I would highly recoommed this estate to anyone and I can't wait to do it again! Thank you Spero :D"

  • Lovely property, lovely hosts

"My family flew from NYC to spend Thanksgiving with us here, and we all stayed up at the Glen Ellen Nest and had a wonderful weekend. The house and the property is absolutely gorgeous; my parents enjoyed sitting out in the sunny patio outback. The kitchen suited us very well for us to cook a delicious thanksgiving meal, turkey and all and we enjoyed the feast in the nice dining room. Yannick and Don are wonderful hosts and greeted us on arrival to show us how everything worked and to make sure that we were all settled in. While we didn't spend too much time going into town, the house is right down the street from Glen Ellen and sits among several wonderful Sonoma restaurants, and is a short drive to Sonoma Square. We highly recommend this house!"

  • Perfect for Honeymoon in Wine Country

"We can't stop smiling about our stay at the Moon House. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights while taking a Honeymoon in wine country, and everything exceeded our expectations. Terry was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process of planning our stay. We arrived to a handwritten note and a bottle of local wine! We loved the unique setting and proximity to town for easy market trips and dinner spots. The kitchen is fully stocked - even had coffee and tea! We also loved the outdoor patio area for evenings under the stars. We spent one day at wineries in Napa and another day at wineries in Sonoma, but the house is a great centralized location from which to explore both regions. Terry also provided maps, brochures, and suggestions for hiking and dining in the area. We will definitely be back!! It's such a special place. It was the highlight of our week in California because it was a unique way to experience the life in wine country. We felt at home :) and well taken care of throughout the stay with plenty of towels, bedding, etc. We recommend checking out The Fig Cafe in town as well as the Glen Ellen Market to stock up on picnic lunch for winery hopping. Loved everything about the Moon House and the warm hospitality."

  • Amazing views with modern luxury

"The views you get from the patio is truly amazing. I could not wait to get out there first thing in the morning to see the fog and clouds over the valley (yes, we were above the clouds), and wait for the gorgeous sunrise. Of course the sunset was equally gorgeous, and we could not stop taking pictures. The house was a true retreat, and perfect for our family to take it slow and relax while visiting a couple wineries a day. Glen Ellen is 10 - 15 min drive from the house and has a great market (with produce and ready made food) and really cute restaurants with a local feel. Kitchen is fully stocked with top grade appliances and tools, and weber grill, so cooking and eating in was a pleasure as well. It is about a 10 min drive up the hill to get to the house, but the roads are absolutely safe (we've driven in much worse in europe), and there's rarely any other cars on the road at the same time. Was not a big deal driving back to the house at night after dinner once you've done the drive in the daylight. You don't get views and privacy like this without that much of a drive up the hill. The house is furnished beautifully and super clean and not cluttered, which is what I always look for in a vacation property as well. My favorite part was the modern, clean bathrooms and the humongous walk in closet! And John was very nice and pleasant and made the process very easy, with clear instructions and guide to the area. Highly recommend this house for exploring sonoma and napa area."
