"We have just returned from a week at Spero's home in the Sonoma hills and it was just great. We had our three children's families gather for a once a year get together and wanted a special place for the long distances travelled to get here-one daughter came from London. The place was better than advertised and the pictures do not do the quality of the facilities proper justice. The Kitchen and Great room were a perfect gathering spot for meals prep. The bedrooms were large, well furnished and each having a bathroom was an added treat. The poolside patio was large and roomy and well equipped with high quality furniture-the pool was good size and sitting in a spectacular view. We had two evening group parties by the pool-one catered and one done ourselves-and surroundings and sunset were perfect. Our kids just loved the waterside and the hot tub, and the adults loved the bocci ball and tennis court. The lake was a big hit with all the water toys imaginable. All in all, this facility was very well equipped. It even came with deer and turkeys in the morning down in the lower field. We had a few questions on how things operated, not wanting to do any damage, and Spero was immediately responsive to any emails or phone calls-we met him on the way out and thanked him. A great spot to rent for a week and is suitable for adults and kids. It was nice having a kid's' room where they could all congregate if they wanted to. We just loved it, and it was more than we expected. Thanks for the stay! The listing description was accurate, the pictures great, the place was clean as a whistle when we arrived, and I recommend it to anyone that needs privacy, a wonderful setting and roomy accommodations for a decent sized group. It also really worked well for our wine visits in Sonoma and Glen Ellen. Access is easy to town."Guest: Mike Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 11, 2014View listing
"This amazing home was the perfect spot for our group celebrating my 50th birthday. 4 couples enjoyed the beautiful gardens, refreshing pool, gourmet kitchen, and plenty of bedroom/bathroom/living space for all. The furnishings are up to date and very comfortable, the house was immaculate. Views from the entire property are breathtaking-don't miss sitting by the pool in the morning to watch grazing deer, humming birds and hawks flying overhead. A short walk up the driveway and you're in Jack London State Park for hiking, for a more serious workout walk or run Sonoma Mt Road and look for Yaks and Alpacas at nearby farms. Close to some of the best wineries in Sonoma and just minutes from the laid back town of Glen Ellen where you have your pick of world class restaurants, there is no lack of good food and wine. Caryl was wonderful to work with setting up our trip and Jim the caretaker was quietly available whenever we needed anything. We really couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, lovely, experience! The perfect way to entertain some of our best friends and celebrate my big birthday! You won't find a better home to "live the Sonoma life". Thank you Caryl for sharing your beautiful home!"Guest: Sarah D. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"We found Little Vineyards in 2010 and loved thier wines but our first stay in their cottage on the property was in March 2014 and it won't be the last. The ultimate in relaxation while being in the middle of so many places to visit. The peace and serenity that this location provides is second to none. Joan and Rich Little provide great hospitality and great wines. I know that each visit will not always have the luxury of enjoying a "jam session" from Rich's band or the nightly serenade of the frogs in the creek which is too bad as it was the cherry on top but each visit you can enjoy walks through the vineyard and watching the sun and moon rise over the mountain range and being so close to some great little eateries in Glen Ellen or Sonoma. It was also a great central location to enjoy the Savor Sonoma event. Highly recommended for a wine get away in Sonoma."Guest: Vini68 Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 18, 2014View listing
"I stayed here with 9 other adults and 3 babies and it was a perfect place for us. We loved all the outdoor space and the hot tub! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the house is tastefully decorated. There never seemed to be a time when there wasn't enough room for someone to sit, nor did we ever feel cramped b/c there were so many options of places to relax outside. Although we rented in the area b/c of a wedding my friends and I hope to make this a yearly getaway together. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful spot. Thank you again Mike!"Guest: Oaktown Gal Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
